It's quite similar to Ford's other blueish grays. Basically take area 51, make it slightly darker, and give it some blue metallic flake. I like the color. I just don't know if it fits the mustang very well. It's the kind of color I associate with a truck or SUV over a sports car.Hey guys. Has anyone taken delivery or seen in real life GT in Vapor Blue.
I love the colour on line but want some feedback how good it looks up close..
Is it more grey, with some blue fleck?
Rob
This explains it very well, except it totally belongs on the Mustang. Because that's what I bought and my logic is infallible. It's quite similar to Ford's other blueish grays. I disagree with other commenters that it never looks blue. Here are pictures of my Ecoboost. Look at the different colors depending on how the light hits it. These were taken at the same time. The back looks blue because the light hits it differently in my garage. It’s defo more grey. I do not see any blue in it. I face full grey I’d say!
My mate has an auto vapor blue and even in the sunlight it looks the same.
I bought a vapor blue.. I like different colors and I really think it is a great looking car and the 20" wheels really go well with it and complete the great look. That said, you should find one in person before you commit. I did it without seeing it and luckily I am thrilled with it. I will likely have this car for close to 10 years.Hey guys. Depending on the light its a 2 tone car gray and blue. Neither colour is more dominant in my opinion.I disagree with other commenters that it never looks blue. Here are pictures of my Ecoboost. Mine came in about 10 days ago. I like the color and the picture is my 2018 GT Premium I traded in beside the new 24 GT Premium in Vapor Blue with Night Pony package.Hey guys. Has anyone taken delivery or seen in real life GT in Vapor Blue.

You know what? With logic like that, I can't argue. This explains it very well, except it totally belongs on the Mustang. Because that's what I bought and my logic is infallible.
Dual tone colors can deceive the cops! Lol!Depending on the light its a 2 tone car gray and blue. Neither colour is more dominant in my opinion.
Exactly how I described it. I should also add it doesn't seem to color shift under light as much as area 51 does. Area 51 goes from light almost baby blue under direct sunlight, to a rich grayish teal under overcast, and almost a battleship gray-blue in pitch black.a co-worker of mine has a '24 GT in Vapor Blue, and another one has a Mach E in it too. IMO, it looks better on the GT, and can best be summed up as "dark Area 51 with Grabber Blue metal flake"
