I was under the impression that the spare tire was included with the Premium 401 no PP no oversized brakes etc. See below for what I ordered. Not sure why Ford is charing me for the spare tire as the first car I ordered and cancelled didn't have a charge but said 'included' Please advise.

The spare tire is an extra cost item, even for the premium package. I included it on my order at a cost of something over $400. It includes the tire, jack, lug wrench, and a hold-down bracket.

What I don't understand is that the initial order I submitted didn't have it as a cost item? Seems weird. Here is the screen shot from that order.

Yep.
Ford changed the options included items between the time of my first order (cancelled) early August 2023 and my second order Oct 2023 due to be built week of 1/15/24.

Well that's good news for you. Your car should be a Job 2 car correct? Just wonder why no charge for the spare tire then? Does it have auto stop start?

I'm not sure if it's Job 2 or not. It was in production during 1/16/24 - 1/24/24.

As for start/stop I don't know.
Is there a way to tell from the Window Sticker?
Or maybe some other way?

I sure hope it doesn't have it.

Well any Mustang built 12/4 or after is supposed to be Job 2 so that's pretty nice if you didn't get charged the mini spare. I'm not sure how to tell from the window sticker if it has stop start or not. If I come across an answer I'll let you know.

No gas guzzler tax, so it probably has SS.
I might be wrong but I think only the manuals have the gas guzzler tax. The automatics do not. Unless things have changed?

I believe that's correct and it's stupid if you ask me. I've seen other vehicles with the same gas mileage and don't get hit with the gas guzzler tax.

So a new update. My window sticker , built early Jan 2024, went from charged $415 for spare tire to no charge and now it's back to charged. How do I deal with this when I pick up car? Advice please. Car was ordered in early Oct 2023.

I believe most vehicles don’t come with a spare tire anymore?
When I found out my GT Premium didn’t come with a spare I changed my order.
I also found out when I changed my order the Price Lever Code went from 460 to 465.
The base price went from $46230 to $46480.
I don’t quite understand the price hike?
It Is what it is. I I have no control.

Personally, I think Ford should have included the mini spare tire kit in all cars, even the GT's with PP instead of the Tire Sealant-Inflator Crap. Real close to pulling the trigger on the spare tire kit from AA.

I am very tempted too, but the cost is a little over the top and shipping to me (Canada) is insane...
