Amber DRL via forscan?

I asked chat gpt and I got the answer in the text file attached but looks like is the same as what you guys tried

I uploaded my as build to chat GPT to let him tell me exactly what to change and he told to do this I didn't tried them

I tried ChatGPT just for fun but he doesn't know nothing about Forscan values. He is just guessing or copying some other values that were shared on the internet.

I haven't verified your values to say that, but what ChatGPT does is they find something similar the internet talks about and give that to you as a result. Could be from a F150, or another Ford, which works different than the Mustang.

What I also found out is that ChatGPT first doesn't know anything about a specific topic and when I share some Forscan values on the Forum and ask ChatpGPT again, it gives me the values that I shared in the forum, even when I shared values that are not working. ChatGPT just copy pastes values that he can find on the internet, but is not accurate at all.

Example:

Let's say there is another Ford called Ford Wild Horse. The internet knows nothing about this car. When you ask ChatGPT something about it, he wouldn't know much about the Wild Horse.

Especially on coding the Wild Horse.
When I create a thread on this forum about changing the DRL on the Wild Horse with specific numbers and go back to ChatGPT, it will give me the values that I, or somebody else shared about the Wild Horse. Even ahen these numbers are not correct, because that's the only info ChatGPT can find.

If you tell ChatGPT again that these numbers are incorrect, it will give you a second set of values. This time from another Ford model and it will keep on going like that.

Yeah you are correct i was trying to help with gpt since i don't understand these values

so for job 1 it can't be done unless you change the module that controls the lights but
for job 2 it can be done with forscan

I'm going to try the DRL thing today again. After this I'm done with this. I don't even need the amber DRL, I'm just trying everything out for people who want them. It's not even allowed in my country lol.

So this is the video where the guy from Saudi Arabia managed to change the DRL to amber.

What we can see is that he only changed 1 side, just to show people the difference.

What I've learned from this, is that whatever change he made, it is per side and not something that changes both.

So it could either be a change in LDCMA and LDCMB or it could be some other value in BCM which specific tells you the change is only for Left or Right.

All the adresses regarding this change are already mentioned in this thread. So it should be one of those lines but since I have a Job 2 and didn't get it to work, this means it might be a combination of BCM and LDCMA/B.

Is there a way to turn the drl off
And then going to the turn signals and try different values to something that will make them turn signal to act as drl
Its like a combination as you said and it won't work unless you turn the DRL off first

Yes, that's what's @Sofa King also mentioned before. The only thing is, we have to find the right lines.

I have Job 1 car, so I'm SOL on these... I too was just trying to help others out... not sure I would even use them if I could...
