Adding Active Valve Exhaust to a non-AE

TLDR but easier, safer and probably cheaper just to trade cars.

I mean if you plan on getting an aftermarket exhaust valve tronic method is about $600 compared to the 2k add on from ford

I want to add the AE to my GT. Now that Ford has unlocked the ECU/PCM/IPC/etc., is adding the AE feature through Forscan doable?

So I have talked to 2 tuners and I've been told the PCM has the options to enable AE with the previously mentioned components installed and the ForScan changes completed. You do need to have the RTD4 from HP Tuners. Looks like I will try this out and see how it goes. I plan on adding the Borla S-Type with valves.
