Just seen a POV video on IG of a guy who got pulled over in MD for driving his Kia in sport mode. “Excessive Noise”. Might have been Ocean City though, where the big car meets have worn out their welcome there, and the State Troopers were hassling everybody.

Still, getting pulled over for driving in Track Mode can be a real possibility. around here it’s really rural, so even in town, it seems unlikely.
That's why I have my hot key programmed to quiet mode. You never know when you'll need a quick switch.

AZ with all the lifted trucks that seem to run extremely loud pipes I wouldn't worry about your exhaust being too load. Cops don't even enforce mud flaps, tint or diamond lane abusers. Besides your exhaust is 50 state legal.🌵🙂

The active valve exhaust will exceed the legal limit in Ohio in normal mode under WOT. sport and track will do it under less than wot. But no one enforces it out here unless they’re tagging it on to a stupid offense like racing or weaving and passing aggressively.

Guess we are lucky in AZ as you must have a muffler and no cut outs that bypass it. Wild West from NY and never looked back.

I would think that anyone that got a ticket for a stock exhaust system with AE being too loud would have to go up against Ford Motor Company too if the person hired a good attorney to fight the ticket. The odds of this happening are also around zero too I think. A little discretion always works well for people also.

Ford takes no responsibility for using Track Mode Exhaust on public roads.

That said, if you popped it into Normal Mode upon getting pulled over, how can it be proved? Cops riding around with a decibel meter? Lol…

I didn't know anyone but idiots drove around town in Track Mode. They deserve what they get but some cops act like they are out to fill quotas (which are illegal).

As you say, all one has to do is push a button and nothing can be proven even if they were in track mode. The right lawyer can get people off of murder charges today, apparently. The chances of getting pulled over if one is within the speed limit for a stock loud exhaust are nil to none I would think.

When using Track it will tell you on the dash to only use it on a race track. So you will not win the fight.

Even if you drive around town…let’s say in traffic, Track Mode won’t be that loud. This car only really roars when you get on it.

Oh yeah…and I’m an idiot. 😁

OK, I'm an idiot. But I was just experimenting with a new car. Honest Officer, it's true.
