Yesterday I accidentally deactivated Auto Start/Stop, but I have no idea which of these settings caused it. Also, I need to know if the airbags will still deploy properly after disabling the seat belt display. These are the changes I made (2024 GT Premium, EU model):

IPC / 720-12-01 — xxAx xxxx xx-- Continuous gear display (3rd digit +2 from stock)
IPC / 720-13-01 — 0000 0000 00-- Seat belt display/splash screen removed (part 1)
IPC / 720-13-02 — 0000 0000 00-- Seat belt display/splash screen removed (part 2)
IPC / 720-01-01 — xxx9 xxxx xx-- Autolock while driving (part 1/4)

BCM / 726-91-01 — xxxx x1xx xx-- Walk Away Lock enabled, no horn chirp
BCM / 726-97-01 — x1x1 x1x1 x1-- Walk Away Lock (part 2)
BCM / 726-19-02 — x1x1 x1x1 x1-- Autolock while driving (part 2/4)
BCM / 726-27-01 — xxxx xxx1 xx-- Autolock while driving (part 3/4)
BCM / 726-58-02 — xxx2 xxxx xx-- Auto relock 30 s (xxx0 = off)

APIM / 7D0-09-01 — xx9x xxxx xx-- Autolock while driving (part 4/4, menu toggle)

…and make only one change until you can evaluate before doing others.

If you are changing all these codes and settings you are setting yourself up for disaster. Just put up with all the new and improved features or buy a 64 1/2 Mustang without all the inconveniences!
If you need to make changes then you bought the wrong car!

I couldn't imagine these causing the auto stop start to disable but there's no telling. If you're concerned about the airbag then I would not recommend doing what you are doing. Nobody has really "tested" that out as of yet lol

What you changed might not have caused your auto/start/stop to be deactivated. If memory serves low battery voltages can cause this and it has happened to others for no apparent reason. But nonetheless you should definitely reset your car back to default. If you want to mess with Forscan change only 1 item at a time and save your modules beforehand so you can go back if needed. The seat belt splash screen removed especially i would be concerned about if it's the one where you essentially make the car think it does not have seats anymore. I wanted to get the splash screen off as well but ultimately thought it's just not worth the trouble or possible trouble.

Do you have a '26? I also had ASS stop working after messing with FORScan, and had to do a BMS (Battery Monitoring System) reset because it didn't come back even after lots of freeway driving and many days. ASS started working immediately again after the BMS reset. Either the voltage dropped too low, or writing a change to BCM caused the ASS issue. Sometimes on the latest model year cars, FORScan doesn't work right until they update a few more versions, so I also wonder if it's a '26 thing, since it never happened to me with '24 and '25 Mustangs.

Airbags are controlled by the RCM. Nothing you did there would prevent the airbags from deploying.

Unlike some people here, I see nothing wrong with making some tweaks to the modules to personalize one's experience with the vehicle they purchased. As long as you make a back-up to restore default settings, feel free to experiment away.

If you didn't make a back up, go here before the changes you made sync up with the server, pull your ab from Ford and all your factory values will be there for you to restore if needed:
