So the mustang will still offer adaptive cruise control where it can detect the distance and speed of moving vehicles in front of it, but still doesn't have front parking sensors to detect a wall right in front of it? Gotcha, just checking.

Gosh, our '24s with wireless charging pads, universal garage door openers, floor mats, and aluminum pedals are going to be collectors items.

About to sound like a corvette owner with how rare and unique my mustang is 🤣

Glad I have a 24 401A Ragtop

The deletion of Homelink is a head scratcher, how much can it be?

Before I wandered onto the Forums this morning my financial adviser, AKA Mrs Neggytive who has an uncanny ability to make money on stocks told me she was selling our Ford stock.

It has been a real dog IMHO, not enough gains/dividends to justify holding it.

Do I hold on to a stock with less than 6% appreciation in the last year, or buy some more of the one that has me up 36% in the same time?

Did anyone read where Ford is getting out of the "Hot Hatch" business in Europe?
Those are cars that historically have done well for them, but like everything else they screwed it up and are surrendering the market to the competition

Also BMW just announced that although they were discontinuing the Z4 in Europe but they are going to continue selling it in the USA because it is selling well her.

A fun little 2 seat ragtop. It is a car that many potential Mustang ragtop owners might consider as an alternative. Yes I know it is a Turbo 6 vs a V8, but apples to oranges it is a good alternative to the Mustang.

And Ford wonders why they are only selling about 45,000 gas powered Mustangs of all drive trains and trim levels.

BMW is selling about 67,000 Z4's
For stocks the simplest thing to do is just buy an S&P500 ETF amd forget about it. It's a bet on America being successful, and on average goes up 10% per year. Every 10 years the top mix of companies looks different, so why pick a horse when you can just buy the whole farm?

I would have considered a Z4 if a 2+2 convertible wasn't my minimum requirement. Need a place to put car seats for the kids. I was close to going with an M440i or an S5 that were around the same price.

I'd be more excited to hear about a four door variant with all ecoboost power. base 2.3l ecoboost 350hp/350tq, a 420hp 3.0L Ecoboost, a 450hp 3.5L Ecoboost and a 494hp/630hp ecoboost hybrid) and maybe a 600+hp variant pulled from the Ford GT. All of them with AWD

I’m still getting used to figuring out where the front end of this car is. It has completely different reference points than my 06 GT.

In my garage I marked the side wall to line up with my side view mirror, and more recently mounted a tire bump/stop to the floor. That works really well.

I hung a tennis ball from the garage door opener by a string so that when I pull in as soon as I hit the ball with my windshield I know to stop there. It's an old trick from before modern cars got parking sensors. Modern not including the mustang, of course.

Lol... yeah I miss the front parking sensor on the Mustang... that's how I get another car in the right spot in the garage... now I have to line up the passenger mirror with a spot on the wall in the S650... not quite as accurate, just haven't wanted to go to the "antique" tennis ball yet.

I pull in the garage and then use the back up camera unil it lines up with a line on the floor. Perfect everytime.

Ah, the old tried and true tennis ball. a classic.

Sounds clever, but don’t you have to keep shifting it in reverse to see the back-up camera?

If you look on Amazon, there are tons of options for tire bump-stops and even tire park mats that have a small bump to let you know you are about to hit the 2nd bump.

I got these…they just stick to the floor…no drilling or bolts. Sold as a pair, but only needed one.

Lol. Just pull in a little extra, put it in reverse, let it roll back a couple inches until you hit the spot on the camera. Done. Easy peasy.

Crude but it works. I have that on all three bays of the garage.

OK, cool. I’m thinking of my garage where I have a large workbench in front of the car, so I have about a foot of room in front and a foot in back. I have no room to pull forward enough to go in reverse and make it count. I’m shoehorned in there…

8 foot 2x12 as a bump stop works.
