Noteworthy changes:
homelink and illuminated door sill plates deleted on all models,
dark horse no longer has blue seat belts.
connected single screen is now optional on 200A and 400A, still standard on 201A and 401A.
aluminum pedals are now reserved for higher packages, 201A, 401A, and 700A.
Wimbledon White and Intense Lime Yellow Metallic have been replaced by Adriatic Blue and Orange Fury. available on every model except 700A dark horse (why?!).
black with red stripe, prime blue, and international orange seat belts are now available.
red and black with red stripe seat belts are now options on 600A and 700A dark horse since the blue ones have been discontinued.
1st row carpeted mats are no longer standard on GT and EcoBoost. now optional.
dark horse carbon fiber wheels have been discontinued.
tire repair kit is no longer standard on all models. now optional.
new connectivity packages.
  • standard 1-year
  • optional 7-year
keyfob remote start no longer on 200A or 201A.
california special and wheel and stripe package has been discontinued.
puddle lamps no longer on 200A and 400A by the sounds of it.
dark horse now comes with the 10-speed standard, and the 6-speed is optional.
some strange "federal" and "california" emissions differences on the EcoBoost. not sure what this is about.
dark horse now uses leather recaro seats.
plus a bunch of other small changes.

this is even more depressing than the 2025 changes. is Ford just trying to kill the Mustang at this rate?

Leather is no longer standard on 400A GT premium, the ActiveX material is Standard.

no more pony projection lights as standard on 400A, need to go to 401A.

What it sounds like is Ford wants to kill off the base packages of the Mustang and go upmarket instead so they can charge more and cut costs. I think at this rate, the two door Mustang variant will go away in 2027 and possibly be replaced by the 4 door.

so, the price list came out and there is some actually good news. prices have more or less stayed the same. 100A EcoBoost went up like $500, and the 200A EcoBoost Convertible has gone down about $800. everything else seems untouched

Can you provide a place for us to see that?

Some of these changes are just baffling. No homelink at all? So you have to keep your actual garage door opener in the car like it's 1995? No standard floor mats?!? Optional tire inflator kit? Really, Ford? Jesus, talk about pinching pennies...

Remember when we had a glovebox and cup holder lights? Maybe they are trying to make the ‘25’s look like a better deal.

Typical cost-cutting for many of the changes. No point in beating a dead horse, though...capitalism at it's finest.

On a plus side...DH can now be optioned with BRONZE wheels. That's actually pretty sweet. They are a free standing option and don't force you into any other changes with the car...no badges, no spoiler delete or any of that BS. I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing a DH with bronze wheels on Adriatic Blue!

Then again, that combo can only be had on the 600A...

You can order the Dark Horse with bronze wheels this MY as well. You just can't get bronze HP wheels.

It's been fun everyone. (Un)fortunately, I've decided to wait longer indefinitely until I pull the trigger on a Mustang GT. I just simply don't have the money for it right now, and as much as I enjoy cars in general I don't want to go broke for my passion/hobby. In the meantime I'll enjoy Mustang GTs as much as I can in videogames for the time being.
