Hrmmmm ok; if that is accurate that blows my theory out of the water on why Ford Chat told me that my Dark Horse was going to sit somewhere on the assembly line for another 2 months up until October 18th. Maybe it's the lack of TREMEC or maybe the wrong shade of black was applied to the exhaust tips?

I suspect some of the downtime on the DH has to do with the clutch issues causing fires?
There also has been exhausted availability on some DH parts, Can't remember what it was I think the Tremec is one of them.

Well, I can turn speculation into an entertaining campfire game or wait for the sales guy to dig in and see what he can find out.

I did do a search NATION WIDE to see if there was anything else in the spec and colour that I want sitting on a lot and nope. There is another Dark Horse with my exact spec, and about $1000 cheaper........... but it had a blend date one day before mine, so likely not build, and is 3000km away LOL

Can you buy in U.S and drive it into Cad? wondering if US spec will meet Canadian requirements, where Ontario you in ?

Not sure how that works these days since you can adjust the speedo and unit of measurement on the dash itself (MPH vs MPH etc).

Either ran out or taken off for inspection after the incident as I stated earlier.

I use to live in Sauga area after living temporary in MTL. I worked in GTA and just about every second weekend during summer is stay in Goderich / Muskoka.

That is basically the area I live in. I work downtown twice a week so take the GO in and out of Toronto. Weekends are spent on this forum trying to figure out where my damn car is!

I was living near borderline with Oakville, not far from Cineplex Winston Churchill.

Has Gardiner expressway improved ? I remember it was a shit fight when it was under construction!

"When it was under construction"??? You mean they stopped? Parts of it are being torn down and redeveloped which will last until sometime in 2027. Around the time all the pending Dark Horses will be delivered.

Actually, I avoid the Gardiner if at all possible unless it's very late/early because the rest of the time it's a clown show. Same with the 401 Westbound by Avenue Road. Another clown show no matter what time of day.

There was a section they did on Gardiner exp way but I also think the extra congestion came from the construction on Lake shore blvd it was small section near CN tower this was going back in 2015-16

Excellent! Chat was definitely clueless: if they didn't have all the parts at the start of your blend date, it would never have gone on the line, your order would have been delayed instead of going to "in production".
