Is the smell new? Just thinking the smell could be related to burn off on the new exhaust. Maybe condensation and new exhaust burn off.

I thinking that but I realize that the new exhaust smell already worn off a couple weeks after the install. This stink smell different than the new exhaust smell.

Have you noticed any fluids being consumed? Keep an eye on the oil level and the coolant level.

Coolant is the same level, oil does seems a bit lower on the hash marks, but then again I have the oil cooler.

I think you just need to keep an eye on it over some more miles and see what it does. Monitor oil levels etc. I'd also take it to the dealer to get it checked out. Even if they say its normal, you have it on record that you reported that issue, should it turn into anything nasty.

Yeah definitely I’m going next week just to have them check it.

I did. Its hard to make a direct comparison but on the DH it looked a little darker and less smokey to me than yours. On the DH it also dissipates very quickly whereas yours seemed to linger a bit longer to me. But I could be wrong obviously.

Oh well, have to get checked out I guess. Engine runs fine, no lights. Doesn’t sound like it’s sputtering or stutters on normal acceleration.

@S650sunshine .......bluish smoke is "usually" not good as it usually means oil. Blackish is usually over rich, white is usually condensation and bluish is usually oil derived like a faulty valve stem seal or ring failure. Take it to the dealer and have a work order written to log your visit for future warranty. I suggest you do NOT just ask someone to look at it and offer an opinion without formally recording the "investigation" via a work order - as this will protect you for warranty.

That is not smoke, holy shit, it’s leftover water vapor condensate being blown out on start up. Holy shit.

People may as well just buy electric vehicles at this point, not you but others, complain about engine noises, cam chains, direct injectors, relays clicking.
“Smoke on startup”

Make the switch…

If that was actually smoke… it would stay smoking with rpm, driving, etc… all conditions

Again, it’s nothing more then condensate

Enjoy your new mustang, embrace the sounds and smells and characteristics of its combustion engine

Mine smoked way worse and the dealer told me it is normal even though it is not. service advisor told me to wait until I hit 5k and do my first oil change. I took it with 1400 miles, i doubt they are going to do anything and probably just a waste of time but let us know, maybe you will have better luck.

Absolutely I’m enjoying it, everything else runs perfect.
