2024 GT horsepower?

So I was exploring the DORA for my 2024 Mustang GT order and noticed the engine is listed as “5.0L TI-VCT V8: GT 450 HP” which would be the 2022-2023 spec. I checked a few other orders and they all said the same thing. My understanding was that the Gen IV Coyote has 480 hp standard and 486 w/ active exhaust, which I ordered.

Does anyone have an explanation for this?
My apologies if this has already been addressed. I was unable to find anything about it.

I'm guessing that it's just a gaff in the system. I thought the same thing when I saw mine. I want that 486hp!

They just copied the sheet from the 2023

It's in the build and price on the web, too. Really hoping this is an error. I would rather wait for the higher HP gen 4 Coyote than have last year's engine.

On Ford’s website, it specifically states the 2024 mustang comes with 480hp. So I’m sure it’s just an error.

Equipment and specifications subject to change without notice is usually in all brochures and advertisements. Probably more valid now than ever.

I would certainly want the 486 ponies as well, but I have always wondered if they both have the 420 foot pounds of torque, would anyone really be able to feel the 30 hp? Having driven every generation of Coyote, to me the all feel the same since 2018 brought on 460 hp.
