0 to 60 and other performance numbers

My bro had a 350R for a few years… I assure you.., they are slower than molasses in January.

They look amazing, sound awesome, rev all day long… and are slow.. 10r80 will slap it around for sure.

Oh for sure, the 5.2 seems to be all about the experience, it's fast, but it's not optimized for all around maximum performance, that's the gt500's job.

It's easier to grab anything with a B58 in it and slapping on a tune if you care about 0-60 numbers. I'd take the "slow" 5.2 all day long lol

The current GT with the A10 is a 3.9/12.0 car all day on street tires.

I would expect the new GT to run a 3.8 and a 11.8 or so on street tires. Possibly better...

Maybe on a prepped surface with roll-out. In real world circumstances you'd be lucky to make it 60 before 4.5 seconds.

Yeah, it surely can be. I have P-Zero Corsas on this monster right now and that definitely helps. I cooked a Scat Pack on Sunday bc he laid down rubber for a good second on launch while I was already hitting 2nd gear lol.

These HPP HP's are highly under-rated. It's pretty crazy I barely lose to a Mach 1 in 0-60. 1/4 mile is obviously a different story.

They aren't slow, but they don't have a lot of torque. Different driving experience than most American sports cars but I'm not expecting the DH to be any faster/quicker.

High Performance Package EB uses Focus RS Engine. 4.7 on manual, 4.5 on A10.
Technically mines 4.7 but I digress.

Never seen a stock HPP Ecoboost make 4.5

Even GT's struggle but manage, because of grip.

"small difference in power", now that's debatable. On paper, perhaps, but Ford says the peak horsepower and torque are available across 60% more of the powerband. Says 'only' 330 HP , but, feels MUCH faster than any EB I've driven, and , I've cooked stock GT's off the line so IDK what else to say. Car kicks ass. Most EB's die off at 4500+ RPMs, but, this doesn't. It's is pulling hard from 2500-6800+.

It has Launch Control, too, and maybe the Magneride and TORSEN helps, too, as I have Handling Package and am running P-Zero Corsa's.
It's all about getting that power to the road.

0-60 isnt even the strength of this car- it's handling is unbelievable.

0-60mph is 0.1 or 0.2 faster than 0-100 km/h. Since we haven't heard from any meaningful improvements I would expect the car to deliver a solid 4.2 or 4.1 0-100 km/h.

I did get 4.28(slight uphill 2%) without 1ft roll out with 305 PS4S in my 18 Euro GT with A10 on the street

With 1ft roll-out 4.06. So 3.8-3.9 should not be impossible 0-60 with a A10 DH with the 315s in good conditions.

However it's not like BMW or Porsche where the performance numbers from factory almost always are higher than IRL

here in Australia we do 0-100kms (which is like 0-62mph)
A10 is like 4.9 and M6 is like 5.5
