The people trying to compare it to the Camaro are taking the crack.

It’s got a round hood and the same paint so it looks like the last Gen Camaro???

By the time the 2024 Mustang is available the Camaro will no longer be in production.


thePill has never seen a vehicle look even close to this other than it strongly resembles Mustang’s from 2005, 2010, 2013 and 2015.

The 6 gen camaro lives on in the mustang now I don't need both cars .

Haven't seen these images anywhere yet, figured I'd share.

According to Lethal Performance:

Totally new generation Coyote motor.
- Dual 80mm Throttle Bodies with dual Airboxes?
- 3 Different Transmission Options (1 Auto, 2 Manuals)
- Upgraded internals? (Predator-like rods and cams?)
- Rated at 500 Horsepower.
- Locked PCM (Over the Air Updates similar to 2021+ F-150)

The taillights look modular not like some of the renderings I have seen. Just what I expected to satisfy the aftermarket folks.

Interior looks like a high school project. Those 2 vents are an eye sore. It is what it is, if this is the real deal. I hope to see something different tonight.

If you directly compare with s550, s650 doesn't look that bad.

It is a shame that Ford got rid of door lines and dual hump interior but s650 does look cleaner than s550

Putting it together, that interior looks much bigger of a disaster than I previously thought.

A LOT of people smacked their wussy meat about the 2015 being the end of the Mustang yet they all went out and got one.

Most of the people complaining about the 2015 were those that recently invested in a 2012 Boss or 2013 Trinity GT500 and thought that was it. Many people criticized the car in general… then it debuted in New York and everyone shut up…

You are correct and I was one of them traded the Boss for a GT350 in 2019, I would never had traded the Boss on a GT. To this day I still feel the Boss was the better car than the 350. The difference back then was the S550 was a big upgrade over the S197 in almost every realm, this wont be the case in this S550.

They look nothing like each other. If you had to draw a similarity, you could say that someone took the time to fix the Camaro — by scrapping and redesigning the whole thing. The mustang still has great flowing lines, good visibility and looks cohesive. Unlike that busy, confused, disjointed Camaro.

Where they look alike is the rear quarter panel "hump" and the back. Other than that, they really don't look alike at all.

frankly cant stand it, especially the interior. I expected the interior to be an actual upgrade, this looks like a total mess.

I also never warmed up to the s550, i still say it was a downgrade in every way appearance wise to the s197
