‘25 810hp Shelby pulls to side during hard acceleration

2,000 miles…. When I hit throttle hard from rolling 1st or 2nd, car wants to pull to the side and I have to pay ALOT of attention to keep it straight. Tire pressure for both rears is 30lbs. Normal mode and Drag mode. So, whats wrong ?

Several things could be causing the behavior.

It could be something involving component installation or setup. An item might be broken. It might be the nature of the car.

Being under warranty, I'd return to dealer and discuss.

If the car is consistently pulling to the same side during each pull, that could be something having to do with suspension installation, adjustments to that or a mechanical problem inside the differential.

The car has some upgraded components. It's a new car, which has then been modified. Something might not have been installed or aligned correctly.

There's a chance something internal to the differential assembly is broken, the car always favoring one wheel or making the car one-wheel dominant. While possible, I put the odds at this as being pretty low. Something mis-installed during initial assembly? Maybe. Something broken? Possible. I'd expect sounds and other odd habits to accompany the failure.

It could also just be the nature of the car. It's 800+ HP. While the suspension might have been upgraded to live with that power, it might not be tuned to apply it as expected. Further, the equipment selected and how later adjusted would be different for track and drag strip use. GT350s are more suited for the track than the strip.

I’d check to see if the rear cradle is centered and the alignment is not just green light good.

Another thing no one thinks about is swaybar preload. Just you sitting in the car shifts the bias of the swaybar.

I am not sure what suspension mods come with the GT350 from SOA, but if you have any installed, you should have them checked to make sure they are correct.

As it was mentioned, being in the vehicle shifts weight, and if something is off, even slightly, it could contribute to your issues. I have a full suspensions setup, so I never had this issue. When I hit it, it tracks straight ahead.

Ever check alignment? Some of these cars are way off from the factory.

Purchased new and no mods except for what Shelby does. Made appointment with my Dealer. :(

Are the tires gripping when this happens, or are they slipping?

Because it seems like hitting the throttle hard on an 810hp supercharged car in either first or second is going to cause some tire spin.
