I agree, it's just that the article I linked doesn't say the camshafts are different. Im fact, it says while past models have different camshafts, it says the DH has less different than past models. Consider this quote.
Right on. I have seen the 2022 order guides, they do have wheel pictures, but I didn't see pictures of the stripe packages or interiors, so I wasnt sure if there was a place to see them before placing the order.
If order banks open before the build and price tool, will dealership have pictures so you can see what the options you are choosing look like, such as stripe packages etc?
I love the s650 as well. Considering a DH with handling package. The S and R models make sense, but I hope they continue the Track Attack with the street legal DH as well, like the Mach 1. I'm far away, but would plan a vacation to Charlotte to do the track day.
I love the dark horse interior. I am a little sad that you can only get it in blue or black though, as I think it looks upscale, but want a red car. I dont think the blue interior would look as nice with race red exterior. I assume all black wont look as upscale. I wonder what color the recaros...
That's right. If the camshafts are different in the DH, that makes sense. If it is only the rods like the article above states, there really isn't much separating the two other than a tune horsepower wise. Same intake manifold and tubes etc. So i wonder if the redline was raised along with a...
Thanks, I should have used that thread. I wonder why camshafts werent mentioned in the article. Not as much difference between the two as a Mach 1 or Boss for sure.
I know the Mach 1 (and GT500) owners got a Track Attack with purchase of the car. Does this continue with the Dark Horse? I hope so, looking forward to going.
Are the connecting rods plus tuning the only differences? I saw an article that stated as much. If so, I wonder if the redline is raised?

According to the 2023 order guide, Mach 1 Handling package job starts March 2023. Does that mean it's going to be early summer before 2024 production begins at the earliest?
If I get the handling package, i assume ill want to swap out wheels and tires for street use when not on the track. What does everyone generally do? Order a set of non handling pack wheels and tires?
I noticed something interesting. If you take the curb weight of an auto GT with 480hp and curb weight of a auto Dark Horse with 500hp, the GT has a better power to weight ratio it seems. 3913/500 vs 3752/480.
If I wanted to order a standard Dark Horse, is it worth talking to a dealer now, or just wait until the configurator comes out and submit it to a dealer and talk then?
