I know there is a sticky x-plan thread, but I do not see a full answer to some questions I had. Can you use an X-plan while pre-ordering a new car before release, such as when order banks first open?
I understand, my point is I want something much sooner, so it appears I have to get a used GT350 or GT500, or settle for a DH. I was just hoping for a third option sooner than later.
I should have fully qualified my statement with "If this is accurate". I know it is all specualtion and rumor. If it is true though, doesn't leave much time to announce another model between the DH and the GT500. Late 2025 release means early 2025 announcement/reveal. I suppose they could pull...
That is somewhat disappointing to me, as I was hoping to buy a model between the Dark Horse and the GT500. This makes it sound like the Dark Horse took the place of the Mach 1/Bullitt and the GT350, which makes sense I suppose. I don't think I can wait 3 years for the GT500 though, I want...
I remember when the 2018 photos were leaked and then when the real reveal happened, it looked better. I wasn't a fan of the 2018 refresh, but the pictures in the official reveal did look much better than the leaked photos, so I think the rear will look better tonight.
We may not get the exact horspower numbers on the 14th, but if we do, what do you expect?
My guess is 480+ for the regular GT, 487 if I am being exact.
Agreed, I expect the base GT to be similar in output to the current Mach 1 with maybe a 10hp bump, and I hope the manual is carried over as well.
My wish is the GT350/cobra/whatever to have AWD V8 power and possibly electic drive at the front, but probably not. I would be a buyer though.
Exciting! If that is correct, I wonder when the first SE will be announced. The GT350 was not far behind the 2015 GT, within a year I believe.
I know, be patient....
