The main reason I am hoping for 4 is I think the active exhaust system requires them, and I really hope they make that standard going forward, or keep the option.
As others have stated, I would guess that this is an ecoboost.
Against other performance cars that it will inevitably be compared to with other American muscle cars falling away. Even being able to beat a years old 1LE around the track would be cool.
Maybe it will be in a class of it's own and there will be no need to worry about power, weight, or other...
Power to weight ratio is important for performance and fuel mileage. With the decision to stay on the old platform, is weight loss possible? I personally believe to be a contender, the Mustang GT needs to lose a few pounds in V8 RWD form, even if it was just 100-200 pounds in comparison to a...
No comment on the tri-bar, but there are some trends going with the very minimal actual brake lighting on the corner brake lights, and i really dislike it. More of that light needs to be lit up when pressing the brakes. It doesn't have to be blinding, but that is tiny, and I have seen others...
If they are going AWD, it would be really nice to have the AWD GT come in at the same weight as the current GT and the RWD, if they have it, be 100-150 pounds lighter. Probably not going to happen if it is on the same platform, but it really would help the Mustang stay competitive.
No AWD? Weird that everyone is saying that except this article. If the 2023 doesnt have an AWD option I'll probably get a low mileage 18-22 and mod it, AWD is what i am holding out for.
I agree with Ace. Look at the f150, the bread and butter for Ford, raptor not until the second year, high end raptor in the third year. The first year mustang will probably not have a GT500 model.
That is exciting, after driving my wifes AWD sporty sedan (2017 Infiniti Q50 3.0t), I want an AWD Mustang. I will probably wait and see if is offered with a v8 or hybrid before settling for a RWD GT in 2022. Hope the information comes out in early 2022 and not late 2022.
