Those are different reference tables. Used in the below chart, 3 is the left chart and 4 is the right one. The others are Not pictured. But those are all in the tune file. When I have a minute I can screen shot them.
The numbers in the charts are percentages, but in decimal of how far the valves open. In the track drag, you can see they’re all set to 1.00. That would be 100% open. In the other chart for sport, you can see many of the cells are set to less than 1.00. That means the valves are partially...
You can change the active exhaust via all those tables to do anything you want. You want to make all modes track full open, then just apply table 4 to the columns for the mode you want. Even can change it per gear.
What the hell do you mean? Thats the reference for the modes for those two tables. Table 3 is the sport table on the left and table 4 is the track table on the right.
Fuck guys, let me just settle this right now. Yes track/drag mode exhaust is open 100% of the time. Pedal demand or RPM, it doesnt matter. Sport mode is not open all the time like track/drag. Time for the proof so we can put this shit to bed.
Here are the two tables and the table references...
My full E car is getting about 9 when Im out beating on it. I will run through an entire tank of e85 when Im out datalogging, making pulls and 60-130 rips for two hours. But let me tell you, the car is an absolute animal now. Pulling like a freight train to 8000rpm is bananas. Wait until it...
I dont think so Tim.
My car made 455/405 E85 tune only in 101f heat and 3000da. That was my initial tunes back when we just got access. Also not in the 1:1 gear. It would have made more. Plus now I have made monumental strides in my e85 tunes and I can run 60-130 just in the 9s now in the...
Just sucks with weather around here in FL at the moment. Its going to stay hot for at least 2 more months. Around december we finally get those low DA days and thats when we get to the track. Then of course they close for the last half of december and first half of January for the holidays...
Not really yet. Haven’t heard of anyone going to the track yet. It’s too hot most of the country to run any PBs. God forbid I go and run s550 times in 100f and 3500 da and then my tunes are turds. I’m going soon but for more trans data and then in December I’ll run for a PB here in FL. But...
The E85 tunes are awesome. My car loves right at 33* of timing. Makes tons of airflow all the way to 7850 now, and I shift it at 8000 to drop back into peak tq. The 93 tunes are about 28* total advance in comparison and even in those situations, I'd always say you should blend to e20 at least...
It’s been figured out since 2018 smart guy. We just choose not to do them because the majority of users out there struggle with understanding how to handle a flex setup with a defined learn trigger and a finite learning window. That’s also exacerbated by DFCO skewing learning in the lean...
I considered doing like a 13.00 afr tune and trying both 93 and E85 on it. Again it wont be full spark, but the stoich is close enough to the median that the fuel trims will compensate in either direction easily and you'd never know the difference. But I dont like the idea of a car adding fuel...
Robert Papini. Hes the tuner. Jon is great too with flex. Personally inferred flex has always been more of convenience and not performance. Since you are blending in most cases, you are not getting to full E levels and the car is never giving you full spark/power if set up correctly. If you...
