I considered doing like a 13.00 afr tune and trying both 93 and E85 on it. Again it wont be full spark, but the stoich is close enough to the median that the fuel trims will compensate in either direction easily and you'd never know the difference. But I dont like the idea of a car adding fuel to compensate. Pulling fuel is always a better situation than adding in any scenario. So I scrapped that idea. I wouldnt feel comfortable selling that to anyone if I was iffy for that on my personal car.

And even in full E tunes, I still run my stoich at 10.0 rather than 9.80 since NOBODY ever truly gets perfect E from the pump. Even me testing my stock car with what tests at 85-90 at my local specialty station, the car is just about perfect with fuel trims at a 10.0 stoich and pulls fuel at a 9.80 stoich. This is why its important to both test the fuel as well as run the correct stoich for it. The inferred AFR tunes are likely to be way off and the car will just always be compensating in one direction or another.

At Steeda, we work exclusively with a select group of trusted tuners featured on our website. These partnerships are built on rigorous testing & ensuring they are capable of handling the demans on both the street and at the track ... ensuring every calibration meets our standards for performance and reliability.

When developing tunes for previous Mustang generations, our priority wasn’t chasing peak horsepower or pushing the limits. Instead, we focused on delivering calibrations that are safe, consistent, and powerful enough to meet the needs of the everyday enthusiast. Reliability and drivability have always been at the core of our tuning strategy - without precipitating damage to your vehicle.

Matt, our lead tuner, brings deep expertise to the table and is always available to help guide the conversation. If you have questions or want to explore tuning options further, you can reach him directly at www.steeda.com or 1800 950 0774.

Not needed. Ford's Inferred logic works fine.

I'm dubious DRP has rewritten any of the ECU code to achieve "special flex logic" but maybe their bar for using the term "special logic" is lower than others.

They didn't write new code,

The FF logic/tables in the Mustang tune are from the F150, They rescaled some tables with raised rpm's and changed scaling for other tables to better match the Mustang..

So what does this F150 logic do differently than Mustang to help with flex ?
Also, wondering if tuners do anything with torque management on a manual or is that not a thing ?

Well chances are if they are considering a tune, they want more out of the car and aren't enjoying it as much as someone like you would be. Also, for $800 I'd say getting a tune is a better value than buying a faster car and the supercharged route is always going to be the best option for people that arent satisfied with the cars power but most don't have $15k to waste on it lol. So while you think a tune isn't worth it, it is for most people on a budget that want more out of the car 👍
It would depend on the gains. I'm not sure that 15-20HP would really make a difference to someone not enjoying the car as-is. But that's just my thinking. 👍🏻

Plenty of tuners disagree with you.
The FF logic on the F150 has been werking for nearly 15yrs, So that's on whatever tooner can't figure how it werks, It ain't Rocket Science, Find someone who has figured it out.

It’s been figured out since 2018 smart guy. We just choose not to do them because the majority of users out there struggle with understanding how to handle a flex setup with a defined learn trigger and a finite learning window. That’s also exacerbated by DFCO skewing learning in the lean direction.

Not sure you are making it personal to me since as far as I know I've never sed anything to you about, Well anything, and I guess this "Smart Guy" will keep it that way.

And Yes I had a PDB Flex tune on my 2018 and it werk fine.

Unlike the people you should've directed that shade to I'm aware [ Perhaps, Most Aware ] of how tunes work.

I'm not the guy who emails his tooner, "HELP, I just loaded your FF tune and I immediately went WOT to race a Honda with a fart can that pulled up next to me and I Need To Know, DID I BLOW My C!IT UP !!!!!"

If they were Smart, They'd Just hosted up a bootube vid asking the same stoopid question for the clicks.

How do you transport a mountain bike with a Dark Horse? <-- serious question, here.
I’ve been doing it for 10 years .
I actually brought my bike to a dealership to test it out before ordering my 15gt.
I just putt the back seats down , put a thick towel over my bumper/trunk to protect paint, then I remove front tire and slide her in. Now that I have a more serious , larger mountain bike, I remove pedals to make it easier.
now I can drive an hour to the trail and enjoy both my passions!
Can’t do that with a Camaro! Lol

I've done that a time or two also. It's tight, but doable.

Don’t get all butt hurt. We are just discussing tunes and options, trying to see why different tuners do it differently.
Yeah, ZX is a little opinionated and abrasive but I like it! Lol
