Oil filter for 2025 GT Mustang

The Motorcraft filters have taken a quality dive recently. Trying to find the video/post about it. Crappy glue inside etc.

Dam I hadn't heard this? Is there alot of reports on this?

I'm running a Mobil 1 filter on my Whippled 5W-50 filled DH. They have a great beta rating. I've been running them for 25 years and the oil looks almost like new at a change.

Ford Racing filter DOES fit. On my 3rd oil change with the CM-6731-FL820. 2025 GT.

Resurrecting this thread. I was in my garage this evening and stumbled across the Ford Performance oil filter that I attempted to install (didn't fit) on a past oil change. Seeing it jogged my memory of this thread and my reply/post. My statement that the FP oil filter will not fit a gen. 4 coyote engine in not entirely correct. It will not fit Mustang GT's w/PP or Dark Horse. I overlooked the fact my GT has the PP which adds the engine oil cooler.

Appears that it will fit non-PP GT's. It will not fit GT's w/PP. Since the DH's have the same engine oil cooler I'll assume they're a no go too.

Sorry for the inaccurate info. See red arrow on photo. This is were the PP (due to engine oil cooler) differs from standard and hence the FP Oil Filter no go.
