Cool, I do have a panel clip removal tool. Were you able to reuse the clips or did you have to buy new ones?
I was able to reuse 2/4. I didn't replace the 2 I broke due to there being like 14 screws plus the clips for the one splash shield. I personally think it's overkill but if I do wanna replace them I can always grab some from my work for free.

Yea, seems like overkill and kind of odd they used both types of fasteners. I was kind of spoiled with the oil changes on the Chevy Cruze. Didn't even have to jack the car up.

That had to have been nice lol, my 2015 mustang was “overkill” and it didn’t have much in the way to be honest. I was expecting a 25 minute job all together on the 24 and was rather annoyed when it took 25 minutes to just get to the filter lol

Can anyone explain why the manual says FL-500-S but the website and other people are saying FL2127? I'm about to do my oil change but I got the FL-500-S, if it's incorrect I would really like to make sure.

I have had the 500S on the car for over 2k miles now and it has been perfectly fine. Don't sweat it.

FL-500-S might be getting replaced by the smaller and cheaper FL2127. I bought a bunch of 500'S's just in case.
