another way to assess if the filter needs cleaning is to look at the intake manifold vacuum pressure. as the filter clogs, the pressure should drop. here is a pic of the pressure at 3k rpm. maybe check a baseline when filters are new and check it every few months

You can't check this in the garage, you need to be at wide open throttle with a load on the engine. Should be no vacuum in an ideal setup

Wish I would have come here earlier but I can say these filters are great! I ordered right after your release and I now have 30k mi on them with zero complaints. I will be installing a steeda intake next week so I will be sure to report if they fit or not and I will do some side by side comparison once we get tracks open up here in Alaska. Currently im the fastest na s650 in state and pushing for the low 10s this year.

Hey! I’m glad to hear that you like the product. I hope you hit your low 10s goal!

Unfortunately, these will not fit with the Steeda intake. Their MAF housing is just enough larger than stock that the filters do not fit.

Filters are back in stock!

Also actively prototyping a panel filter for the F-150 and all other Ford vehicles that use the same filter as the 3.5 EB trucks. This has been a much longer than expected process since the manufacturer has only made cone/cylinder filters and had to buy a lot of new equipment in order to do this. I will be starting a post detailing this whole process similar to this thread on FordRaptorForums.

this would be great if i could know when the filter needs to be changed/cleaned. how much would the pressure drop before you should change or clean the filter? great post BTW.

Hey, sorry I missed your question earlier. Searching the internet, the best answer that I can find for the 2024 Mustang GT is that Ford uses the standard 10 to 15 inches of water column as the maximum permissible end-of-life pressure drop limit for the OE filters. I would use the same for these.

I threw this question into an AI program and it actually pulled this specific thread as a source. I am pretty proud to see that knowing how much this community and I put into this whole thread and this process.

On another note, for any of those interested in the business side, the EU recently added a requirement for online retailers to add an option for buyers to instantly process a refund. I have been too busy with some other life things to look into this and figure out what is actually required for sellers but due to significant punishment for those who do not follow this requirement correctly, I have had to stop sales in Europe.

I will look into this further and do my best to reopen sales in Europe. While this is not a significant number of sales compared to the US and Canada, I am always excited when I see a new country come up.

Also, we are getting very close to having a panel filter available for pretty much all Ford F-150s and some SUVs. More on this to come.

Nice! Thank you for the information. Also just wanted to say I bought your filters and received them recently. They Look like a very nicely made product. I haven't installed them yet but when I do and have some drive time with them I'll report back ect.
