With the centri cars you just need to take overlap out through the middle and a bit at the top. Whipple does the same for theirs as well. Flatten out that midrange overlap a tad on the intake but more on the exhaust so you dont bleed off boost into the exhaust.Yes the whipple runs more timing. I believe part of it is because of the inherent design of the whipple itself and also the cam timing it runs. There's 2 ways to increase or decrease cylinder pressure, ignition timing and or cam timing. Timing is just a number, you find out what combination of ignition/cam timing overall works best for your setup and fuel. My car only makes a peak of 10 psi so when it shifts back into the next gear it's closer to 8.5. For the overall average amount of boost it runs I feel it performs great. The centri style blower performs well with the 10 speed.
