Anyone heard anything about when the ESS kits are dropping? I’ve been without boost for a while now since I’m still waiting for their supercharger.

I know it was estimated to release in October as of this past summer, but obviously that didn’t happen and I haven’t heard anything since.

Any and all insight is much appreciated!

Mine has been ordered for almost 6 weeks. Should be here any day. I got in on the second set of kits they are building.
Where’d you order from? I’m looking to get one in ASAP, but all I can find is the ESS website and it still says “coming soon.”

Did you get any discounts on the kit? Since y’all are gonna be like the pioneers trying this kit on s650. Was talking to my coworkers n he said some company do sponsor or discount their products initially. Idk if ESS does this as they’re pretty known in Mustang community now.

A few of the pre-order kits are starting to ship already. You will start seeing them around any day now. I would email sales and see if they will get you on the order list.

Hope you guys get it and enjoy, terrible execution as a company, car has been out 2 and a half years, whipple kits been out over a year and a half

Inexcusable as far as I’m concerned. Hopefully they do better next time, hell turbo kits been out for over a year.

With all due respect.. ESS was last to market in S550 and is currently outselling every other option by a mile. First to market is not a priority. Tuning was never available so selling kits and getting cars running on the factory ECU tune just to create fake hype was not the move. Developing F150 and keeping up with S550 sales was much more important at the time.

The kit has been in development for over a year. Once tuning was released it was game on and true testing could begin. Once we tuned and started testing the development vehicles there were tweaks and changes made before mass production could start. These changes were discovered AFTER tuning was released. This is to ensure the absolute best product is devolved before anyone gets their hands on it.

Whipple had tuning access years ago from Ford. The others were just running on the factory tune. Which is pointless. ESS has a different market strategy. And it has very clearly worked so far on S550.

Please check in a few months from now and see how “terribly executed” things are.

My kit has been on order for a few weeks now with Graveyard. Cant wait to get it in hand and start developing my own tunes for it. Im putting the base kit on my 25 GTPP. Thanks for taking the time and doing it right. And ESS will again be the best selling kit for this gen for sure.

What are the main selling points of ESS compared to other options, Whipple, Hellion, or Procharger?

I think the cost would be one of the main reasons cos it’s affordable compared to other superchargers available now costing $10-$12k. Easy installation compared to Turbos and don’t require professionals mechanics to install kit. And according to “651garage” (YouTuber) ESS superchargers intercoolers are much quicker to cool the engine compared to others when doing Pulls/roll racing. Not sure how tho. Maybe some of the senior members of forum or who has supercharged GTs can chime in. Just my observations 🤷🏻‍♂️
