I mean it makes sense in a strictly monetary context. Early-Millennials and Late Gen-X are all entering their peak earning capacity at the moment based on age-demographics. I wouldn't want any of these cars though at this price point.

Yep, this is me. At the top of my career and at the prices they are asking for a DHSC, I'd get something else and did go look at a few other options. In the end I settled for a regular DH with heavy discounts, mainly because we are also house hunting for a new primary residence and also investing heavily in real estate now. If not for that, I wouldn't be in another Ford currently, I'd have something off my bucket list instead, which is not a DHSC. I do love the regular DH though and am having fun making it my own.

Wow configuring the DH SC online that price hits you in the face. You can’t even get recaro seats except with the track pack. Sweet looking car. But its nearly twice the cost of my 700A and good luck getting a dealer to sell you one at that price. Good grief. I hope the Charger HC and new Camero help push prices down.

I will not be ordering, either, but mainly because I am too poor. There is more to this than what you have done to your car, however, especially in the area of removing heat from the oil and coolant.

But aren't a bunch of them paying off big mortgages after upsizing houses, and now putting kids through college? (maybe not earliest Gen X, which are not far off from last boomers).

I guess flip side is if Ford is banking an extra $15K per car, do they care if they sell even the 14K GT500's they did previously).

You have an issue with the rear view mirror on the mustang? I'm 6'1" and thats the only issue. I can barely tilt the rearview to get a good view. Its right at the edge of where it can pivot. On my 16 gt350 i don't remember that being an issue.
