Did anyone ever publish the cam specs for the GT vs the Dark Horse?

Dark Horse also gets a rear differential cooler than the PP GT doesn't get, correct?

Not if you get the 3.55 torsen on the GT PP.

No, the standard Mustang GT Performance Pack (S550 or S650) does not come with a factory-installed differential cooler. While it includes a Torsen differential, larger radiator, and heavy-duty front springs, it lacks a dedicated cooler, which is found on more track-focused models like the Dark Horse (with Handling Pack), Mach 1, or GT350.Key Details:performance Pack (PP) Content: Includes larger radiator, brake ducts, strut brace, and Torsen diff, but not a rear differential cooler.Track Concerns: High-speed track use can lead to high rear differential temperatures, leading to potential thermal shutdown.

See, this is my beef with you ZX… you state things as fact when you are incorrect.

Are you confusing the Dark Horse and Dark Horse SC? Because those are two different cars with two different engines.

PS. Not that Id blame your confusion given Ford's idiotic name choices. 😉
No, I think this above article is pretty specific referring to the SC not the regular dark horse.
I think the SC is a stupid name. Ford still owns the cobra name. I think they should’ve called the Dark Horse SC the Dark Horse cobra and gave it The skunk stripes. Shelby does not have a monopoly on the skunk stripes over the top when people hear the word hellcat. They know exactly what that means a supercharged Mopar. Ford could’ve capitalize on the cobra new meaning top-tier dark horse supercharged.🐎

This forum is one of the most aggressively defensive forums I have ever seen, tbh. If you dare compare, suggest, or insinuate any sort of problem regarding the S650, you get blasted so unbelievably hard, lmao.

My Reply: Well, Cz ...... I think there is an obvious answer to your concern............

106k + for the SC is not a bad deal when one considers all the engineering and track testing, extra cooling vents and heat exchangers, fully forged bottom end and probably better axle shafts, driveshaft, etc. You know, all the things we would have to do to make it work and last 50,000 miles and last on an occasional road course or a dragstrip day, all with a warranty.
Now where did I put that lottery 🎫 ? P.S. I still like Dark 🐎.
Consider the fact it cost only 75k in the form of a GT500 in 2020 (106k is not the track package) and it sure seems like a bad deal. Variable traction control, Cup 2 Rs and a Raptor R pulley are not worth 30k.

I just know when I went online and played with different builds from time to time, by the time I optioned out a GT with the options I wanted, it was priced similar to a DH anyway. Unless you find much higher discounts on the GT than the DH at your dealer?

I remember a few months ago I compared the S650 to another car that was similar weight, had the same engine displacement and cylinder count, performed similarly, and had was priced similarly, and a solid 4 or 5 people came out of the woodwork yelling about how "its nothing alike" and "you're blah blah", and the only reason they could give is beacuse the other brand was a luxury brand.

I mean, hell, I so much as suggested that removing the tow hook insert on the standard GT but keeping the bumper panel for it was a really dumb form of cost-cutting, and some doof immediately called me a snowflake, hahahahah. God forbid you admit that theres some cost cutting measures on your car, its not a big deal.

I've been watching this go down for essentially a full year now, its just peculiar. Talk to a New Edge guy and tell him his car is slow, and he'll just say "oh yeah, I love it". Talk to a Camaro guy and tell him he's got a fat pig, and he'll just go "yeah, but its really fun". Tell a G82 owner (not a tiktok kid) that his car is for broccoli head kids, and he'll just go "yeah, it is what it is".

Its incredibly easy to instigate S650 owners, and I really don't have any explanation as to why. S197 dudes aren't like this, nor are Honda people, VW people, Corvette people, etc. Its just something with the demographic.
I called you a snowflake because you react like an emotional child and make personal insults when ever people disagree with you on this forum. A trait that you are putting on full display to everyone right now. It was never about the tow hook. But its nice to see im still living in your head rent free two weeks later. ❄

Please quote the emotional response. All I said is that you’re doing the usual “defend at all costs” thing, then you called me a snowflake. Seems like you’re the emotional one, lmao.

Not even been a week, btw.

I cant have a battle of wits with an unarmed person. I dont have the time or energy to to keep engaging with someone who has made an internet car forum personal and will never let it go. And you accusing someone else of "defend at all costs" is one of the funniest hypocritical comments ever. You literally fight with everyone here who disagrees with you. Take a look at this this tread and look in the mirror.
