Here you go. Remember that the gear number does not show until you move it to Drive.

Yes sir,

started the car placed in drive and nothing showed in any mode. Only thing i saw was when it went in to sport mode a "1" showed up next to the M.

Mine has been the very same experience. I enabled it and only see it in sport mode.

Does anyone know how to enable XM radio/ is it possible to?

I have Alexa in my Mustang but no XM. Here is the strang part, Ford sent me a notification that I have free trial XM and even provided the radio id.

I assume if my radio tuner was not XM capable, I would not have received the message. Maybe someone forgot to enable the XM on the software side.

Anyone know the hex needed for the DH start up for front and rear lights.
I’ve not found it in Liv spreadsheet. Having fun with this Forescan !
I’d really love to have the amber daytime running lights along with the RTR grille lights. I just purchased the RTR grille lights. Remember to seal em with silicone. The first set absorbed water. Rather shitty design. Now I get to pull the grille again.

I certainly appreciate your efforts with helping kind sir!

As you can see from previous responses, this does work, so there's possibly something wrong with your process, software or there could be an incompatibility.

what year and models of Mustang? what versions of forscan? are there any errors shown when you write the changes?
are you using simple mode or manually updating?

Have you tried an update to another module or another IPC update to see if that works or not?
it's also remotely possible that your interface - either bluetooth or wired _may_ be an issue. It wasn't for mine, I had a bluetooth interface for my '17 Raptor and used it successfully on my '24 Mustang with no issues - other than the forscan bug.

This didn't work for me until.. not sure, but I thing ... .63 version of FORSCAN. Up until then, I could not write to the IPC. Mine is a '24 MDH premium.

Latest version of Forscan, download just this week. 25 Mustang GT base. I did it via the easy. So I may have to go directly to the module then in hindsight!

Hello Smurf,

My car is a 24 DH HP. I used simple mode by unpacking the IPC and changing the value to enabled, writing, and cycling the key. I'm using Forscan v2.3.70. It opens writes and reboots with no errors to the IPC.

Once i disconnect and reconnect to verify the changes have taken i see that they have in Forscan yet does not change on my dash unfortunately.

In general, I find the "easy" way in Forescan to be hit or miss. I have now gone to using the hex code for all changes I make and even though it may be a little more cumbersome, I find I get more consistent positive results.
