It still doesn't show up as having been EPA or CARB certified. Then again, Ford's applications for the 2026 MY across the board were last dated at the end of 2025. Maybe a late submission?
Any car made January 1 or later can be labeled as the next model year. So the DHSC can be labeled 2027 if Ford chooses to do so.

Plus ADM.
It’ll probably be a 200k car
The Grand Sport X is, for all intents and purposes, an Eray with a different name (yes it has the new engine, but the Stingray gets that too). They're not limited production cars, and plenty are currently available with a steep discount.

The new 6.7 engine with 535 horsepower is going to be the standard Corvette engine next year (2027)

Yeah basically trying to revitalize that variant specifically. Not a bad idea for them.

Ford could do well with that in different scenarios.

I just want to know how GM is able to invest more $$ into an even more niche car (corvette) than Ford is with the higher volume Mustang

Well, not exactly available... Grand Sport and Grand Sport X haven't been released yet.

Yeah - and won't be on the street till late summer if even then.
As far as ADM's I'm sure - but the dealer I have purchased from in the past and is my Corvette dealer of choice DOES NOT PLAY THAT GAME ... Steep discounts on lot inventory of 26 Z06's and MSRP on the new GS and GSX.

Yeah, sorry— was referring to discounts on Erays, though I see how it could be interpreted that way based on how I worded it. The premise remains the same though: the GSX is the Eray in every way other than the name, and I think discounts will be available.

I like to disassemble things.

That is true. However, I was responding in the context of the application simply being "late" or within the year 2026 for a 2026 model year vehicle. I'm starting to believe that an automaker can request that a given submission be withheld from public viewing so as to protect sensitive information until a certain date. If all of a sudden I see an approval, either from the EPA or CARB, and it is dated quite a few days/weeks/months prior, I think that is why. We shall see.

So 40 more HP than before? Going to be knocking on the door of 130mph trap speeds "stock", wonder how far into the 10's they'll get.

Well Sir, you are wrong on the GSX being a rebadged ERAY -

The GSX will have the new LS6 6.7 liter engine rated at 535HP: and also the front wheel electric motor unit the ZR1X uses which outputs 186HP a significant difference from the outgoing ERAYs front motor which was rated at 160hp (see below) 👇 total HP will be rated at 66HP difference from the outgoing ERAY

  • Displacing 6.7 liters, GM's new small-block V-8 makes 535 horsepower and 520 pound-feet of torque, the highest output of any Chevy Corvette base engine.
  • Dubbed the LS6, it features a lofty 13.0:1 compression ratio plus new cylinder heads with water jackets that enable targeted cooling.
  • A large 95-mm throttle body feeds a tunnel-ram plenum with intake runners that are tuned to increase air speed into the combustion chambers.
GSX's e-motor was plucked from the ZR1X and makes the same 186 hp and 145 pound-feet. Altogether, the Grand Sport X packs a heady 721 horses

We’ve already established that the GSX gets the new engine, as does every other new Corvette that used the old 6.2L, and I mentioned that in my post. And yes, the electric motor is upgraded and gets and additional 20-something hp, but again, my point still stands: it is an Eray in all but name. Yes, it gets the new engine—as does the base Stingray—and a slightly upgraded electric motor, but it still takes the place of the Eray in the lineup, and as there are currently significant discounts on Erays, I believe the same will apply to the GSX.
