Front Bumper Tow Hook Cover removal.

Good Morning Everyone,

Won't be long before the snow is all gone and we can get the wild horses out to stretch their legs.

Need a little help with the removal of the tow hook cover.
Any good tips for removal that won't scratch the paint.

Did your Mustang come with a Tow Hook?

I just bought a Modern Spare and put it place.

The styrofoam had a compressor, no Fix-A-Flat and a space for a Tow HooK

I have MY25

X2 on the plastic trim removal tool. It doesn't take much to pry it off and the tether will prevent losing it if it there's no tow hook installed.

I want to put a licence plate holder in the tow hook hole. I told the stealership not to drill holes in my bumper cover for the plate holder.

Here in Ontario its law to have a front plate, bla bla bla, stupid Canada. Front plates ruin the look of the DH.

Same here in Maine needing a front plate which are now made in Nova Scotia

Every time I see comments about a front license plate requirements, the same thought pops into my head. The usual reason given for retaining front license plates, is to allow police to read them while going in the opposite direction. Yet, why aren't front plates required to have lighting? After all, if a rear license plate light is out, the police will stop you and even write you a ticket for it! Seems like hypocrisy to me.

Going to do this over the weekend. The manual says to pry from the bottom of the cover, so I'll be putting a pry tool at the bottom to pop it off.

Right side being, as you face it, toward the driver side? Or . . . the right side of the car, which would be toward the passenger side?
