Here is a question for the collective
I had the car out yesterday and did not put it in the garage when I came home
Last night around 830 I figured I had to put it inside, and for chips and grins used the Ford app to start the car
About 5 minutes later I go out and the car is running but locked, key in the car... WTF go back in to get my phone to unlock it.
Now it was cool here in SW Florida yesterday and by 830 it was chilly
I get in the car the heated seats are on, the heated steering wheel is on, and the heat is on.... which was nice because the car was toasty warm and that gave me an excuse to take a short ride and crank some tunes.
So the question is.... does the car look at the ambient temp and turn on heat/AC and other features by itself, or is it a function I have to set up?
Here in SW Florida I am more likely to need the AC cranking and the seat coolers on if I remote start it with the app.
I really don't want to remote start it on a 90 degree day and get into a car that is adding more BTU's to the already hot as hell interior.
What knowledge does the collective have that I do not?
