Kudos to Ford for keeping enthusiast cars going in their line up.
Track car was my next stop, and this is a great evolution of the current platform. I am definitely a customer.

AND, who is going to be interested in this car, a whippled Mustang GT at $123K when you can get a DH SC directly from Ford for likely less. Shelby American needs to fold:

That I highly doubt.
I threw my hat in the ring, the DH SC at whatever price it lands at is way more compelling to me. We'll see where the lap times land between the two.

You can get titanium paddles and shifter on the DH SC for much less...just without it being derived from fighter jets

First, thank you Ford for at least attempting to keep exciting cars available as part of their lineup.
I love the way the S650 looks, a lot, but man this thing is ugly IMO.
It’s also not exciting at all lol “Dark Horse SC”, sounds like a “iPhone SE” the lowest spec’d and nerfed phone Apple currently makes.
I’ll admit I’m poor so I will never own this, but frankly why would anyone choose this at the inevitable $120-130k price tag it will carry? Z06, GTR, McLaren, CT5-V, Escalade V, Porsche, Shelby Super Snake, AMG-GT >>>> I guess you’ll gap all of those in the 1/4 mile with this though.
Just Whipple a Dark Horse “SE”? “Standard”? and 95% of the time you’ll have the exact same car.

C'mon guys, where's the previous energy? The last thread had an overwhelmingly negative tone to it, and now we all like the car?

That statement is a joke, for anyone who didn't catch on. But seriously, the reactions I've been reading on the internet is the reason why I'll take everything with a grain of salt until we get official word (even if I am speculative myself). I mean, the biggest rumor floating around was that the DHSC was going to be a whippled Coyote.

I'm glad that Ford is giving us the option to have the central insert painted or not. I'm guessing it comes unpainted in the carbon fiber accent package that Juggernaut Performance mentioned in their Facebook post. Looks like some of this might be function over form, and with the generous amounts of carbon fiber on offer, I'm curious to hear weight numbers.

I'm willing to guess this car will start around $90,000. I'm seeing some loaded Dark Horses around here with a sticker price of ~$85,000, so I would be surprised if this wasn't at least somewhere north of that.

Now I know others are definitely asking the question I'm asking, and that's because we've already seen the prototypes in the news - what's with the convertible?

It’s in La La land. Right along side the AWD twin turbo 7.3 with a manual transmission. 🤣😂🤣😂

Nice car –

Do I like this new Mustang SC - Yes
But to be honest, I’m disappointed.
I was hoping that we would get another Boss or a Mach 1 model.
I believe the cost of this Mustang will be priced out of most buyers, it’s differently will be out of my affordability, but we will see what the price will be.

All this being said, Great Mustang.
I just wish it had a different badge emblem with appropriate interior detail as they did with the Mach 1, I also wish it was available with a manual.

Just saying -
