Did farley slip and mention some new truck just a few minutes ago while touring the 150 plant?
Where did you see that? I know the affordable electric truck is coming, as well as a bronco pickup to replace the ranger.

In the leaked photo yesterday, there was a Raptor T1 in the background as well, which could just be Ford Performance showing off its current models. It's hard to say what else could have been in the photo as well that we didn't see. I'm still looking forward to Thursday's event.

They gave a presentation at a design conference for this RS 200 thing months ago, and near the end they talked about more variants and news coming. One of those images even though it's blurred out looks like an off-road variant.

I sounded like he mentioned it briefly toward the end of today’s walking tour

Was the 0 - 60 with roll out? Because that does have whiff of bovine excrement about it.
1.5 G's?

Lmao where did you hear that the Bronco pickup is coming? I feel like I see a lot of random rumors come out lately and it’s always from some dude who has insight but has a weird track record.
I like the friendly jab though.

Borg on general motors insider. He's a Ford insider with a proven track record.

High five to Chevrolet! Thats crazy fast for a production car. I would've never thought in million years the day would come we could walk in showroom and purchase a 8sec car.

Just my two cents, as both Vette and 'Stang owners multiple times over the years: the ZR1X is beyond compare for outright performance/cost, no hands down. To compare the $200K ZR1X to the now likely $400K GTD is to simply highlight the difference in volumes assumed by Chev and Ford. Both are great standalone engineering feats, no doubt. But you have to give it to Chev for all the super variants they have spun off the basic C8 architecture. I am sure Ford could do equal, but they don't have a "Vette" equal to start with, simple as that. A "new GT" would be great, but unless Ford somehow committed to volumes like the Vette, they cannot meet the competitive price point. I suspect most of us aren't in the financial status to reasonable afford a $3-500K vehicle, so it's all just talking points, right? Love that both US car manufacturers are working at this end of the performance spectrum, and as Mustang lovers, we can surely applaud what the Vette is bringing to the table. Just a different ball park from our Mustangs, but both are super values and great performance cars versus anything else the world offers! Can't beat that! There, now I'm done! ;-)
