Is there any way to add the USB C port?

the V1 Gen2 will not work when plugged into the USB port behind the mirror. I tapped into the rain sensor behind the plastic panel. easy peasy.

That's what I thought! Then, I took a flight light and looked from the outside in ... BAM. There it is. It is not on the mirror itself, but tucked into the forward face of the piece right at the top of the windshield.

I'm pretty sure my 2025 does not have it.

I wonder if there's a trim package that dictates this then? Mine was a 2025 GT Premium...no wireless charger... I didn't have the "performance pack" officially though I thought I did as I have everything except the adaptive suspension..all added by the dealer apparently. So maybe the NON performance packs have this? And I'm sorry, to clarify, the port behind the Mirror is USB-A but it is POWERED. I just got a coiled USB-A to USBC cable for my camera. Sorry If my inattention to tha detail caused any confusion!
