Well, you get the 24 you still have lighted door sills and garage opener. 26's don't have those.

I don't think 49K is awful...come back to them with 47K and see what happens?

If you snag it make sure they change the oil for you! Been sitting too long.
I feel the same way. Less bang for your buck all subsequent years, yet the same car. Im not worried about trade in, ill be keeping my next one.

For once I like our system. We advertise cars at the year of registration, not build, so my '24 becomes a '25, but I still got all the '24 goodies.

Looking for some opinions on price. 2024 premium, rapid red/space gray, 401A, grabber blue, auto, bronze pkg, B&O, active valve. OTD in MD for $57,097.
Good, bad, decent, fair?
Dear God no. That's basically MSRP. Earlier this year when I was shopping the 2024 hold overs were all under 50k.

Just got an offer for $49000 plus taxes and tags OTD. That would equal right about 52K.
That's a lot better. But I still think you could do better.

horrible deal. Local DC area dealers were about 9K off when new. that car should be 13-15k below MSRP. By chance,is it Koons? sounds like their kind of deal.

Over in MD. He offered 49K plus taxes and tags. Comes out to about 51K. Im not going to do it, but I am appreciating the things I am learning in this thread.

2024 GT Dark Matter Grey 6 Speed Manual "Job 1" (no start/stop)
I think I found it on CarGurus. Note, it's a "Job 1" 2024 actually built in late 2023. So it DOES NOT HAVE START/STOP, which is a bonus. If it's exactly what you want, color, packages (bronze is AWESOME), automatic (personally, I'd only buy a manual, but Job 1's have $1000 gas guzzler tax, which is what I had to pay), it's OK to pay a little more. Note that the MSRP's of Job 1 2024's ($41,000 plus $5000 for premium) are less than 2024's and way less than 2025's. So you're in good deal range.

The thing that would piss me off is their asset protection package, which may mean they added a GPS tracker spliced into the wiring harness. That would not only be a take the $1300 off the price, but the damaged caused with the splice is worth another $1300 off.

Edit/Update: The other weird thing is it was an Iowa (Granger Ford) car, how did it end up in Maryland?

Here's where the start/stop button would be, but this one doesn't have it

I make a stand not to buy from a dealer that holds firm on silly add ons, and usually skip them completely just for attempting it.

$6k seems reasonable to me. I would be happy with that discount. Thats the important thing. Will you be happy.

That’s about what I paid for my ‘25 similarly equipped after the dealer knocked off about 5K. I got the 6 speed and no active valve by choice.
I would offer them less and see if they accept, ‘26’s are out now, it’s 2 yrs old.

I got basically the same build (different color) without bronze package OTD for 50k back in February. You should be able to get them to take off another 5k minimum.
