I have a 25 DH, and enjoying driving the car with the windows down, however at highway/Interstate speeds that can be a little painful to the ears, due to the wind buffeting issue. If you drive an S650, you know what I am refering to. This seems to be an issue with a lot of the newer vehicles. In the past several years I've had 2017 SS Camero, a 2018 ZL1 Camero, a 2020 Toyota Supra LE. Every one of those cars had the same issue to a degree. The Supra was very bad about it. Both of the cameros, and the Supra had aftermarket products, that to an extent took care of the issue. I have found a S650 Wind Deflector that affixes to both windows and disrupts the flow of wind around the mirrors and A pillars. This looks a lot like one of the solutions that i tried on the Supra, with limited success. Has anyone found a solution to this issue?

I want peace and quiet on interstates and highways. It's hard enough to focus on staying alive on them anyway. Cars have AC now and going that fast with the windows down may not make sense to some people. Whatever floats one's boat......

Frogdogi..I hear ya man, and I agree with you to an extent...I live in Florida, and in the summer A/C is mandatory, but right now, the weather here in the Fla. panhandle is awesome, so thats when I enjoy the windows down mode. I also gotta admit that I don't drive as fast as I used to, even in the DH, and man do I ever want to cause it seems everybody wants to race you, and the LEOs' around here take a dim view of that. Anyway, I'm still looking for something to help with that wind buffeting

You don’t need to be on the highway to experience it. I’ve been meaning to ask this question. It sounds like fabric is ripping in the back of the car.

My 06 GT had really bad wind buffeting. This car is a little bit better. I just keep the windows rolled up.

If you want to roll the windows down and hang your arm on the door, you are going to have to go back in time about 40 years.

I've only had one car that didn't buffet at all, a GT86. It kept the rear window clean too.

Not in a Mustang but a Corvette I've had some success by adjusting passenger window up/down and find a happy spot for my speed....Usually its about half way if drivers window is all the way down. I love the windows down experience as well. The sound of the car is the best music and windows down make it better... and hair or not the fresh breeze is awesome too....(when it's not hot)

Good luck finding a cure...If it was a Maverick the sliding rear glass door makes it perfect with windows down...no buffeting at all.

This has been my solution as well in the S650.

In the past several years I've had... a 2020 Toyota Supra LE. ... The Supra was very bad about it.
I too am a recovering Zupra owner.

I found the same in my GTO, halfway down is the sweet spot, even at highway speeds. In our van, if the front windows are down any more than a couple inches, the sliding door windows also have to be lowered, otherwise the buffeting is pretty bad.

I don’t have any in my GT350R … wasn’t any in my S550 PP1 either … i wonder what caused the change going from the S550 to the S650?

I never drive over 45 MPH with the windows down. More than that; it's windows up, and HVAC on "vents and fan" or the AC is on if required, or heat during the bbbbrrrr (comin' up fast!) months.

I did not read all the replies but being in San Antonio TX fall/winter is windows down weather. The noise the seatbelts make is annoying. Body Glove make soft seatbelt shoulder pads ($12 auto zone) that stops the noise also my wife has a cricket and put a Mustang GT logo on them and rolling the window up 1-2 inches stops the noise also.

This is why I went with a convertible. No wind buffeting at all.

I have seen the Supra mirror fin thing that is supposed to stop buffeting in those cars. I was looking for a similar fix on the Mustang. Our 2019 Tiguan is the worst vehicle that I have ever driven with buffeting. We had nearly no issue in a Nissan rogue with all 4 windows down but the Tiguan can’t have the back windows down more than a quarter without massive buffeting at 30 mph.
I’m a huge fan of driving windows down and heated seats on in cool mornings.

It's not really fair of us to call it "winter" as it's really only the ... what, 3-5 weeks starting New Year's day? :-)

Thanks for the seat belt pads !
