Up until a month ago the difference between stereo and surround was lost on me. Everything was biased to the right side at all times because of single side deafness, so it really made no difference to me, I couldn't appreciate the system in the car.
But now with my cochlear implant on the left --- WOW, what a difference in sound! I know hear in 360 degrees. The B&O system sounds much better to me today. I know that some say it isn't good, but for me it is really good with my new "direct injection hearing" on the left side.
