Jeez, I hate this mandated nanny state BS. It's my car, I paid for it. Who the hell are they to control the bloody thing?
Have some solace in the fact that that mandate has already been discontinued. Unfortunately, if your car already has it, you are stuck with it. There is a device you can buy to bypass it using the OBD port. It costs around $27-30. I didn't get it for my wife's car because it is leased, and I don't need it in my Stang. Glenn

I read this thread but didn’t see an answer to my question. My 24 GT profile settings don’t change the cluster setting as programmed. It changes drive mode, steering etc but not the cluster any ideas why?

It's a liability issue and also related to eco-regulations. So they need to make the car default to a compliant mode with things like auto-stop activated. That's the silly reason it won't keep and save our settings!

There is a setting in the menu for that. If that doesn't do it, try removing any/all custom profiles.

*edit* press the mustang button near the start button, select "cluster theme", and "match drive mode".

Yes. It's a glitch in the system. I have a whole thread on this going. If you choose a custom gauge cluster it should save to your driver profile on the door. However, this does not work for many people, including me.

My solution is just to toggle to the custom drive mode, where I have my preferred gauge setting saved.

He's not talking about drive modes. Hes talking about his saved profile. Once programed to your seat setting, it supped to change to your saved gauge cluster when you touch the seat button. Unfortunately, the cluster setting doesn't save for most people.
