@EgoBoost ..... Contact Info Roush performance. I emailed Sarah R (Senior Agent Customer Service) at [email protected] attention Sarah R, several times. She was awesome. Sent me cleaning instructions and knew what she was talking about. Imagine that.....a customer rep that actually knows my Mustang and their product and how the two will interact. You can also call direct at 1-800 597-6874. Here's where it gets a bit weird. I thought Sarah quoted me $120.00 for the extra two dry filters......but my credit card was charged $240.00. I telephoned Roush and got another customer service rep who said the price was $120.00 each. He said "Wait until you see them you will see why." I agree that they are pure 5 star quality. That said, $120.00 each ain't cheap. At a Mustang meet today a guy told me he paid almost that much for aFes. Are the extra two Roush's worth $120.00 each ..... hard to say. I plan on keeping this GT for long term so I will likely use the extra two at some point and I can "put up with" the extra $120.00 BUT if you contact them I would advise you to say that you only want to pay $120.00 for the pair and see what their response is. They might sell the pair for $120.00 or give you some kind of better price/discount. I may call Roush this week to see if I can get some kind of a credit. If the answer is no I'll still keep them. You would probably be fine with just the two filters in the kit. I bet they'd last a long, long time. More than five years I would say and how much would OEMs cost in that time? Everyone, including my buddy with a vette loves the look so the $550.00 for the kit (clear lids + two dry filters) is IMO well worth it. As well, I "feel" the engine breathes better and I have changed the OEM "paper" filters several times now. Are the 2 extra filters worth the price I paid - for me yes and if YOU get both for $120.00 or some kind of decent discount I'd say that was a steal. Sorry for the lengthy post but it's serious money and I wanted you to be informed. I love the look IMO it really sets-off the twin induction system. Good Luck!

@Tarz825 ..... I agree and really liked Corsa products. We used their marine through hull switchable high performance exhausts on a lot of the marine HP engine builds we did. Great products 5 star appearance and longevity. My problem was neither Corsa nor their dealers seemed to have any idea when this kit might be ready. I had put a deposit on a set and asked for my money back and got it no problems then went to Roush for the kit I have. I'm 100% satisfied with the Roush kit.

@RC53 ..... when the retailer told me they had no idea when the Corsa cold air intake kit would be ready I asked for my deposit back and bought the Roush. I tried to contact Corsa multiple times by phone and always got voicemail. Corsa used to be very responsive by phone.

Up-date on the Roush kit. Drove the Mustang about 150 miles, part of it a construction zone with a lot of dust. Got home and fingers crossed, lifted the hood hoping the fit of the Roush Kit lids would prevent dust from getting around the contact with the Ford bottom half of the air box. Happy to say the fit must have OEM tight as there was no evidence of any dust being sucked-in around the joints. I am going to check the rpm as I think I may be getting a bit more rpm at idle, unless Ford has sent an rpm up-date to my module.

Why not go all the way? One of the locals installed blue LEDs inside the box. It does highlight the scene after dark.

For those who like under-hood views... Once upon a time, if you didn't mind spending $500 plus shipping, you could get a clear Lexan hood for a Taurus SHO. Oddly enough, they're rather sturdy. Or as was the word back then... Far Out!

You just have to think about it in terms of horsepower gained per dollar...then it's double nuts!
Pay to play, baby!

I do agree that $550 is too spicy. $350, maybe. But, it's Roush, and the filters do breathe better; I can hear the straw go whooosh now. But it's the tune/calibration that really makes these Roush filters worth the money. Even then, $550... quite the speed tax. I fell for it. Don't regret it, but I'm a True Believer.
