I seen a video on YTube and I didnt believe it till I tried it, but wet a Magic Eraser then squeeze all the water out and wipe down the all the glass inside and out and dry with a drying towel. It works just as good if not better than window cleaner.

Is that those white spongy things that remove all sorts of stuff

Zaino polish makes a cleaner that goes on like wax on the inside and makes the glass literally disappear

I've got a hammer, does the same thing.

I just cleaned all the glass in my car with Stoner's Invisible Glass diluted in half. Works like a charm in about 15 minutes. No big deal cleaning Mustang glass.

That they are lol Make sure they are damp and agitate with light pressure and dry with a waffle drying towel and good to go, I have had no scratching to any automotive windows since I have been using them, If you think about it rubber wipers going back and forth across a windshield is probably worse than a magic eraser.

I use them a lot around the house, never thought to use it on the cars. Mental future note logged.

Don't use them on your painted surfaces they probably will scratch the clearcoat.

I read the box....they specifically said don't wipe your car with it. It will dull any gloss painted surface.

If your using the magic eraser dry and using a ton of force then yes it could possibly scratch.

Magic eraser is an abrasive wet or dry. There is absolutely no reason to use it on glass.

While I don't condone the use of a magic eraser, glass is a very hard surface that needs a lot of aggression to cause scratches or hazing. That's why glass polishing products are so aggressive, and even then, they are never going to scratch glass.

For example, I can use a very heavy cutting compound on a wool pad and not put a dent in a scratch on glass. Use the same combo on paint, and you will easily remove a scratch, and then impart compound hazing that needs a finer polish to clean up.

What I'm saying is, while magic erasers are extremely abrasive, they are not going to harm your glass. Now, if you have window tint film, that's another story.

its not magic like others say you still need to do the 2 towel method to get it perfect but the second towel should be dry and lint free

It's strange because it was touted as the best glass cleaner ever. I go back to Invisible Glass and have no issues.

I followed DFB5.0's advice and picked up a waffle towel and indeed it makes a big difference.

What I like about those TRC towels is that they don't bunch up in your hand like other glass-specific towels do. I've also found them extremely durable, every single one I've bought is still in service, some being 5 years old now.

Thanks to this thread, I have ordered Invisible Glass and Waffle towels. Looking forward to trying them.

its defiantly not what og claimed it to be of never leaving a streak but it cleans good i also have the gallon size

but just like other glass cleaners i need to go over over it with a dry one to get rid of streaks

That has always been my glass cleaning method for decades. On the outside, apply directly to the glass, wipe with a towel, the wipe with the dry side or second towel to finish. On the interior, I spray into the towel, wipe, then wipe with a dry towel.

Over winter, I've had better luck with Trace-less. However, in summer I've found it to flash far too quickly, which is leaving streaks behind. Keep in mind, Traceless was designed for the much cooler UK climate where a higher flash rate is desirable. That's my theory anyway, something other Australians have noticed as well.

Mix one cup distilled water with one cup of white vinegar then add about 8 or ten drops of Blue Dawn Dish Soap. Add enough Dawn to make the mixture turn a light shade of blue. Shake the spray bottle with each use. Spray a small amount on the glass and wipe/polish with a microfiber cloth. For the back glass in my GT Coupe, I use an Invisible Glass triangular pad wrapped with a microfiber cloth. I use a safety pin on the backside to keep the cloth on the triangle. I put the pad on long paint roller stick. Spray the pad with the mixture and wipe clean. I'm too old to climb into the back seat so this process gives you a 99% cleaning of the back glass.
