Ya that’s what I’m thinking too. I am curious as to why their kit says no tuning necessary. That would imply that it’s a bolt on, but I’m curious how that’s possible without a standalone. I don’t even think a standalone would work on these cars because it’s so software integrated.

but if it follows there gt500 kits thevx1400s that should mean a 1400HP dark horse,
on the GT 500's there are VX1400T and VX1400S T= turbo S= supercharger

so no public tuning yet

So I heard they flashed a whipple tune to the car with a whipple tomahawk. Buy the whipple kit for that car, use the flasher/tune on the car and install their own turbo kit. Makes sense. Really just need to get all the tq management raised up and all the airload scales raised above the stock 1.1 limits. This would work for just about any boosted kit, but you'd be buying a $10k tune to get it... But cool. No magic crack though.

You could resell the whipple kit. the buyer could call whipple and tell them you bought it used and need the tuner. I think if you have the valid serial for the blower, they will see it to you separate.

I said that's how they do it back in the first page when this thread started. Using a roush tune for twin throttle bodies and the twin turbos. They are just copying all the other shops that did this last year. Way behind the other shops and posting to make it seem like they are special and figured out a way to tune it.

Honestly, this makes me think tuning really is never coming. At this point, there’s no incentive for Ford to allow it to happen outside of their control

I seen a video today Ford is putting out some tunes for NA builds. Nothing worth buying I'm sure. Especially for us whipple guys

I meant more so custom tuning. Theres no incentive for ford to allow for aftermarket tuners to do it unless they also have a hand in the money pie

Ford isn’t putting anything out. It needs to be cracked/hacked. They would never allow open access. Just takes time.
