installed SPE x F1 pipe

the car is so loud I will have to either add resonators or revert back to stock because this kind of loudness not allowed over here (normal mode with x f1 pipe is louder than track stock)

videos to hear the tone

normal mode:

track mode:

Sounds good. Not really sure what you expected, lol. Compared to mine, it's kind of quiet (Corsa full system). Honestly, if you have to add resonators to it, might as well go back with the stock pipe, unless you are gonna go with larger piping all the way back.

I just received my Double H-Pipe with Resonators, I plan on installing it the end of next week. If you like, I'll give you my opinion of the difference in sound level from stock after it's installed.

Another forum member used a double flow through muffler with 3 inch pipes in place of the resonator which is both freer flowing and quieter.

Just a thought.

If you search 3 inch you will probably find it.

He posted sound clips above that post, and some more discussion appears below it.
the problem with sound clips you will only know how is the tone not the loudness that's why I said in my post the sound In normal is louder than stock so anyone can have general idea how loud the sound will be

even the videos I posted there almost no loudness difference but in reality it is so much louder in track mode

Well, he claimed it was quieter than the stock resonator, if I recall correctly. Plus, it is three inch piping, as opposed to the two and one quarter inch reduced pipe size of the stock resonator, which has to be worth a little horsepower at 7,000 rpm.

Just in installed my Resonator H-Pipe this morning and went for a couple of drives to get a real-world opinion.

If you have active exhaust don't think twice about installing one, putting it into quiet mode is almost the same as when it was stock.
Sport mode now is about what track mode use to be.

If you don't have active exhaust, it is louder than stock but not as loud as a straight H-Pipe. I know this because my nephew installed a Resonator Delete H-Pipe on his Mustang and his is definitely louder than mine, too loud for me.

Either way it does change the sound, louder but without the high pitch vibrations, maybe "refined" is a better way to describe it.

I do like the sound more than I thought I would and for me at least, better that with just the H-Pipe

I didn't attach and sound clip because like you said, it doesn't really reflect how loud the car is.

I hope this helps with you decision
