Not sure if the GT and the DH have the "same same" tune with regards to the kit?

I have the same kit and was able to get 707 rwhp on 94 with Comp Open Air boxes.

I ran mine on a mobile dyno today for fun after driving for a few hours. 3 pulls all within a few HP of each other.. I made my pulls in 5th gear (1:1) and said 671 hp & 545 ft/lbs.

For comparison my buddy ran his bone stock 2021 GT 500 right after me and made one more horsepower than I did with quite a bit more torque. 672 hp & 581 ft/lbs.

We both hit speed limiters before it hit rev limiter. My highest rpms were 7,040 rpm, like to think I could’ve squeezed a few more hp out if I didn’t have the Ford Performance Whipple tune with 150mph limiter and ran it up to redline.

I just got the stage 2 kit installed on my 6 speed and it ran 720 on the 1st pull 736 on the 2nd pull. I also have long tube headers, x pipe, and aluminum one piece DS.

Thanks Beefcake. I would have a twin disk clutch for this thing BUT, when I ordered it, after waiting 3 months I cancelled the order. Would have been nice to install that clutch at the same time I had the headers put in. Maybe next time I order a clutch from SOMEONE, I can get that clutch in less than 3 months so it can go in when I build or swap the trans this winter.

What does this do to your daily driving experience, NVH, that sort of thing?

So far...not a damn thing! The best thing about this kit is that it drives OEM under around 4k RPMs. It's so quiet I can barely hear a little whistle and whoosh. Averaging close to 15 MPG. Honestly, the aluminum one piece driveshaft causes more NVH than the Whipple. This kit is awsome for daily and sleeper setups. My IATs are have gone up 5-10 degrees. I will end up with a dif cooler bc those temps are significantly higher. It's fine on the street, but around a road coarse it could be an issue after a couple 20 minute sessions.

780 hp - 650 wheel shows about 17% loss with 10 speed. Always thought auto was about 20-25% loss. Guess loss is less than I thought.

The aluminum helps against parasiti drivetrain loss and if you launch the car at this power level, it will eventually preetzel. The aluminum is much stronger and carbon fiber, I hear is a little overkill and bad if it does explode. The aluminum has been good but I've noticced vibration at high RPMs. I tolerate it.
