Man… what a day.

Picked up my 2025 GT Performance Pack from Five Star Ford in Lewisville after they finished the install of the Ford Performance Supercharger Kit with the Ford AOS for the Supercharger.

Dakota Hensley and his aftermarket team did a badass job at an amazing price- and Luis is a master tech who took the time and took photos along the way - treated the car like his own.

Damn clean install- and drives like a raped ape.

The 3.73 and M6 is a wonderful combo with the kit from Ford. Feels like a regular car when driving normally- literally wouldn’t know it was there.

Get into it?

Damnnn……

Even on stock wheels and tires - traction isn’t really a problem if you’re not full sending it in first and second gear.

Get on it in third from a 50-60 roll and holy shit!

Prior to the install I had the Steeda Stop the Hop kit, Vertical Links and Adjustable Toe Links installed.

Glad I did… doesn’t even fishtail. Just full send like it came from the factory like that.

Amazing.

Kit and Install from the dealer was $13,250 out the door including taxes. Anybody in Texas that wants a quality job done for a great price- call Dakota at Five Star Ford Lewisville!

Congrats!!! Looks amazing !!!
I’m installing a Stage 1 Lethal Whipple kit this Summer. Gotta ask….does the dealership leave the stock cats when they install the Supercharger? It’s a known issue that stock cats fail under boost. I just wonder how they would ignore / warranty a known hazard.

Thanks man!

And yes they do. If they fail within the warranty period and you have the Ford Performance Kit installed by a Ford dealer- I have been told by multiple sources that it is covered under warranty.

that’s why I’m only doing ford performance items on the car when it comes to performance.

not saying it’s the right decision- just what I’m comfortable with!

Stanzi,

Nice, clean install, great work!!

On the cats, if you do, for instance a 60 -130 pull, give it a few miles (normal driving) for the cats to cool, and they can live. It's the back to back stuff than can kill them.

My 2018 still has the stock cats with nearly 23K miles boosted (37K total).

Looks great. I have been considering it for my 24GT. My biggest concern is that the insurance companies will find out and raise my rates to unaffordable. I live in NYS which already has the highest rates in the country. Anybody know if my concerns are real. Carfax already knows when I have the car serviced and where and how many miles are on the car. I know this because I periodically get e-mails from them. So the service information is already out there. And BTW I have data sharing turned off but because Carfax knows exactly how many miles are on the car so I don't trust it. The average cost of car insurance in NYS is reportedly about $4000.

JoesProGTO,

Coyote equipped Mustangs don't really need headers, the factory tubular shorties are actually very good.

Same for cats, they keep the noise down (albeit they are a restriction), and keep the exhaust gas fumes in check so your eyes don't burn in a garage start-up!!

Cats don't fail under daily driving with boost. If you're doing back-to-back pulls on a track, yes, you'll blow out the cats pretty quick. It all depends on how you drive.

I do some spirited driving around town….rarely multiple WOT pulls in any given day. Never tracked or raced. If I had to sum it up, I “get on it” occasionally when I come across an appropriate stretch of straight road or just flexing with another gear head driving by.
What you say makes sense….heat build-up isn’t going to be intense unless RPMs are held high repeatedly. 🤔
Thanks for the input.
