  1. Finally Picked It Up! Whipple Installed! Just Wow.

I do some spirited driving around town….rarely multiple WOT pulls in any given day. Never tracked or raced. If I had to sum it up, I ā€œget on itā€ occasionally when I come across an appropriate stretch of straight road or just flexing with another gear head driving by. What you say makes...
  2. Finally Picked It Up! Whipple Installed! Just Wow.

Great to know Schmeky!! Thanks for your input! Trying to avoid headers or catless setup….don’t want it to be stupid loud.
  3. Finally Picked It Up! Whipple Installed! Just Wow.

Congrats!!! Looks amazing !!! I’m installing a Stage 1 Lethal Whipple kit this Summer. Gotta ask….does the dealership leave the stock cats when they install the Supercharger? It’s a known issue that stock cats fail under boost. I just wonder how they would ignore / warranty a known hazard.
  4. Anyone had a tune affected by over-the-air-updates?

He said the update ā€œreset the tune on all the S650’s he tunedā€. Not sure what he meant by reset (back to factory settings??). It was a brief text because I am considering having him tune mine. Now I’m going to wait until Spring to see what’s up.
  5. Anyone had a tune affected by over-the-air-updates?

A local tuner stated that all the 4th gen Coyote tunes he has done were affected by the latest over the air update. Has anyone had issues with the ECM / tune being changed by Ford updates?

  7. New dark horse style spoiler on pre order?

Looks great!!! Did you assemble the spoiler before having it painted, or did they paint the unassembled parts? Trying to figure which would be best.
  8. Do you guys ever get annoyed with the Dodge 5.7 guys?

We Baby Boomers are the original gear heads…we grew up with the Mustang, so WE belong in a Mustang more than the other generations! šŸ‘šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø
  9. Fuel for 2024 Mustang GT - premium or regular or mid grade fuel?

I use Shell 93 always. Only time I might even consider 87 would be on a long road trip if I was trying to save some money and was traveling on highways the whole way. Premium typically costs about $20 more (per tankful) than regular 87 šŸ¤·šŸ»
  10. Performance package is it worth it

  11. Share your Fav S650 shot

LOL!! I definitely do that. I spend a good 15 minutes just looking and buffing after it’s dry. I’m sure the neighbors shake their heads at me. 😁 Yeah, there might be a therapist’s couch in my near future, 🤣. but this is a mental illness that I’m enjoying. 🄓 Keep on looking my friend!!!
  12. Share your Fav S650 shot

  13. Mixing E85 with 93 Octane for more power?

Yes…too many reasons not to do it. All your points are valid. Thank you and everyone else for your responses. Glad I posted. šŸ™‚
  14. Mixing E85 with 93 Octane for more power?

I agree with your assessment! Variables unknown. šŸ‘ Thanks for your input.
  15. Mixing E85 with 93 Octane for more power?

Yes, that’s what I was thinking…the tune would allow the necessary fuel control, etc. But, according to the video shared by Q6543 above, there are some modest gains…
  16. Mixing E85 with 93 Octane for more power?

YES! Thank you my friend! Just what I needed to see!! Science over opinion!!! I appreciate it. šŸ‘šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡øšŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø
  17. Mixing E85 with 93 Octane for more power?

Well,my only reason for asking is I’m old-school (carburetors and high octane gas 😁) and I’m not sure if the ECU would advance timing based on the higher octane from the E. I know you lose some BTU’s from the E…just trying to fill in the gaps in my experience. I’m not a trial and error guy…I’ll...
  18. Mixing E85 with 93 Octane for more power?

I just saw the video below, where the YouTuber claims he mixes 6 gallons of E85 with 10 gallons of 93 Octane (per tankful) to gain significant horsepower in his 2024 GT….without a tune (obviously). Any thoughts on this? He claims as long as you are keeping the overall mixture around E40 (or...
  19. Rotten Egg, Sulfur Smell?

Often, that sulfur smell is from carbon from the cylinders getting into the catalytic converters (often after high rpm runs) but in a new car, carbon shouldn’t build upā€¦šŸ¤·šŸ»
