Couldāve just been natural noises created with vibration.Weird background noise during drive is this normal? Almost sounds like a static sound. 1k miles, and it comes and goes, and you can hear it better with headphones on. It's very annoying when driving without music.
It doesn't. I turned off the heaters,ac and audo off. Put it in quiet mode to see but as soon as I'm accelerating the sound comes and goes. It's worse when I'm pushing the pedal. It's a very odd sound. I'll be getting the 1k oil change soon and will mention to them.Does the static go away if you play music at low volume? Are your seat heaters/coolers on?
I understand and I love the sound of the exhaust but even in quiet mode(active exhaust) cruising the random static noise comes and goes. Doesn't seem normal. All I hear is a loud exhaust! We all need to realize the Mustang (any model) is not designed to be quiet as a church mouse. It is more like the cat chasing that church mouseāloud and screechy!
I think what I hear is similar to what ive heard on my car. But mine is the PCV in the engine compartment. It sounds like a creaking kinda electric arc raspy sound. You said yours in inside? Are you sure it's not from outside? If my window is open I can hear it.Weird background noise during drive is this normal? When I have the windows down and am driving, I can't hear it; that or the wind and exhaust is masking it, I definitely hear it when the windows are up and no music is playing, it's very loud. Mine seems to only be when accelerating, as soon as I release the accelerator, it stops after 1 secI think what I hear is similar to what ive heard on my car. Huh , can you pinn down if it's coming from speakers ? You said you hear it with headphones on ? If thats the case it's got to be something In the source of the media playing through headphones. It would have to be very loud to be able to hear it through them if it was an external sound. When I have the windows down and am driving, I can't hear it; that or the wind and exhaust is masking it, I definitely hear it when the windows are up and no music is playing, it's very loud.
