I don't know. The only thing I know is that the TSR only knows 2 signs. What is your theory about me being the only one who haven't put this to work?
At first I thought it was the non premium card didn't have the hardware for it, then I thought that maybe just the 301A group models at least have the hardware connected, but then it was confirmed that another 300A group model by changing the same code lines was able to put it to work and I basically don't have another answer than just maybe it's the traffic signs language, hence why by following that logic I thought that it may force the camera to read Spanish words, this knowing that as you mentioned already, other people have used the same code changes and read Arabic signs.
Like I posted earlier, I'm beginning to question myself if this really worth the hassle, trouble and time that I've dedicated to make it to work, the only think that keeps me trying is the challenge of it.
NA and Rest of World, where North America have white sign and the rest of the world has a circle with a red line around it. My guess is that the circle with the red line around it is easier to read for the car. The white North American signs with black letters and numbers are more difficult to read since there are a lot of things along the road that are black and white that could look like an NA traffic sign, like commercial signs for example. I guess they tweeked the NA signs to only read the signs instead of picking up lots of other random things and since your Puerto Rico sign is slighly different, that could be it.
But yeah, that's just a wild theory. Maybe you can find something in the settings and try it out.
Send me your AS-built, so I can see what settings you have.
