They are doing another Boss model (last done as Boss 302 in 2012). Which is usually a special variant of an N/A motor. Ford filed for use of the name last week. I’d expect a more powerful N/A engine like the Boss 302 or 5.2 Flat Plane Crank.

And no idea, the GTD lite rumors are a few years old almost, maybe ford has some leaks coming this summer, I would guess 2028 though

I'd love to see a 5.4 FPC that's as reliable as the Coyote.

they wont do a factory supercharged Dark Horse because they already offer the Ford Performance Whipple kit that can be installed at a dealer.

as for the future, look at the GTD and expect to see some of that in future mustangs

Agreed with @agreywolfe - Ford already has a kit available that you can opt to have installed.

It sort of throws the Ford dealers a bone on revenue. A local shop quoted me at $149.00 an hour for 16 hours to install the FP Whipple Stage 1 kit.

If I remember correctly Ford recently secured the name Boss and Dark Horse Boss, so it seems like the Boss model will have their own DH variant
