Mine come Tuesday and I will get them on and post opinions by Friday next. I have no expectations of anything other than fitment and filtering but will report my opinion.

Quick independent review. Please note that I have no relationship with Mastermind, did not receive any discounts or incentives to review/purchase. I also did not announce I was going to post a review until AFTER I had received shipping info. Thoughts and opinions are my own, YMMV.

Ordered filters on 1/2 (Thursday) around 3:30PM AZ time. Received shipping information and tracking data 1/3 (Friday) at 09:45AM AZ time. I did pay for 2 day shipping vs standard 3 day as it was only a few dollars more.

At that point it was all on UPS and they delivered around 3:30PM AZ time on 1/7.

Filters were well packaged, spaced to prevent damage.

In examining filters noted nothing that stood out as defects or "cheap". Appeared very high quality and well made.

Next to the OEM's I noted that the Motorcrafts had a metal ridge running down them that lined up with the notch in the filters and airbox, the ThInK filters do not have the notch but do have the metal ridge, so I used that as reference point for installation (not that I think it matters 1 bit).

Installation was easy, less than 10 minutes total both sides. Definitely a tight fit, but the quality of the filter and rigidity in it's construction meant I just slipped 1 side on a bit, then rotated the filter as I pressed them on. Ensured my chosen alignment and tightened the clamps.

Perfect fit!

Buttoned up and test drive completed with no issues.

I did not expect any changes to how the car drives and am a veteran of many a butt dyno part that really has no effect but I do feel the throttle tip-in feels better. In all fairness it's likely that I am simply looking for a change with the loud pedal, but even so. I will update review in a few weeks after putting some miles on them but for the price point I think these are a wonderful alternative to OEM as well as oiled filters (which I dislike).

TLDR - 5* shipping, 5* construction, 5* product. 2 thumbs up from me.

@Ducatti20 Your going to like these here in AZ with all the dusty conditions we have. I did have to remove the intake tube bolt to the housing and lift it out to instal the filter. Mine fit super tight and needed to push only from the base. No big deal. I'm sure they will loosen up with the next cleaning. I never liked oil type filters.

Yeah I was amazed how dirty the OEM's were after only 3k miles.

Just reading through this thread and I'm embarrassed to say that I haven't check my OEM filters yet and I've had the car since April of 2024 (around 5600 miles). I did have the oil change and they supposedly checked the filters (not sure if they did, lol) but it seems like if they did and they were dirty they would've tried to sell me some new ones.

Anyone know offhand how often Ford recommends we should be changing the OEM ones? Is there anyway to clean the OEM ones to extend their life? I guess I'll have to take a look into these ones here as they seem like a nice alternative.

So I’ve been reading this thread as I do find it extremely intriguing, however before doing so, I purchased the Steeda oiled filters (I personally think they’re a much better company compared to K&N). I’ve noticed 0 issues with steedas. For one, they’re blue (cool cosmetic piece), and 2) yes, while oiling the filter can be annoying, it’s not a long process. And 3) I don’t really see how much “less” filtration capacity the steeda has compared to “non oiled” filters. Either way, don’t believe I can get these as I just spent $200 on steeda, but overall still curious.

So i have the Injen dry flows. Got them back before you offered these and before anything but K&N filters were available. I’m tempted to still try yours out. I really don’t like the oiled filters

I have seen so many different values posted by dealers and Ford. Typically they say 10,000-15,000 miles or once per year.
There isn’t an exact mileage though. It depends on several things like driving conditions and if they get wet. I don’t know of any way to clean paper filters. They are considered a throw away item. That is a big part of why I brought these to market.

Many aftermarket filters focus on airflow versus filtration efficiency. We started with how well they filter and then focused on flow.
Having an extremely uniform media that doesn’t need oil to filter means that you have a product that will filter consistently without user error being a concern. Check out our website for some more information on the filters.
I wanted white to show dirt more easily so you know when to clean them but the dyed filters/colored oils do look really good. I have been looking into some color options and may do a special run for fundraisers.

Interesting. Maybe I’ll get these one day, but don’t see the purpose in spending the money again. Really good product though

I usually have 2 filters for my vehicles so I can change them out and clean one/ let it dry while using the other. It’s a bit more of a commitment with this platform having 2 filters. Plus a unique flange size so costs are even higher than a standard 4 or 6 inch flanged filter.
