Help identifying engine component

Hi all. Long time reader first time poster. My 2024 GT is letting oil out of this thing in the red box. It's not coming out by the quart or anything but it's making a pretty good mess of things inside. I made an appointment with the dealer but their first availability was 2 weeks from now.

In the meantime, can anyone tell me how to google this area that oil's coming out of? Thanks!

yep, this is the answer. exhaust TiVCT/VVT solenoid

Quick update. The dealership was finally able to take a look at the car today. Kind of crazy I had to wait this long but whatever. They said it's indeed the VCT solenoid, but that the parts are on backorder from Ford and it will be about 6 weeks until I can get my car back.

6 weeks for a VCT solenoid? that sounds odd considering that all the parts distribution centers in the US combined have over 14,200 of those solenoids

The diagnostic note included replacing the valve cover seal. Maybe that's the hold up?

It's a little frustrating but my main concern is if something else goes wrong in the future. Hasn't been a confidence inspiring experience.
