    The diagnostic note included replacing the valve cover seal. Maybe that's the hold up? It's a little frustrating but my main concern is if something else goes wrong in the future. Hasn't been a confidence inspiring experience.

    Quick update. The dealership was finally able to take a look at the car today. Kind of crazy I had to wait this long but whatever. They said it's indeed the VCT solenoid, but that the parts are on backorder from Ford and it will be about 6 weeks until I can get my car back.
